I met with Brandon in the front office and chose to have LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank), installed throughout my house because of the look, durability and waterproofness. We coordinated the dates of the installation and I couldn't be happier. Even though I made some design changes prior to the install, Brandon was able to get everything ordered perfectly. I recently purchased hardwood floors in hickory for my second home, a cabin in Twain Harte. Guy's team was able to install all of it within just a few months (a real feat these days)! They could've done it even earlier, but I had to push back the date due to prior plans to visit the cabin. Guy was VERY responsive to questions we had, especially as issues came up (mostly due to the challenges presented by my home's various quirks). Guy also was very helpful from the start, giving me the pros:cons of LVP flooring vs. hardwood--that really helped clinch the decision. The biggest challenge was working around curved slate tile and having to slope the flooring to reach the edge of the thick/tall tile. I received nearly daily updates (with photos) from Guy, which was so thoughtful. I am very happy with the finished job and would readily recommend Guy and his team of installers (Pete and Steve). We had over 1700 sq ft of luxury vinyl installed right before Christmas. The entire crew worked hard to get it done before my drop dead date. They had to work around us, our animals and a fair amount of furniture. The crew was very careful with moving furniture, trying to keep dust under control, and keep the project on time. When I first visited Abbey Carpet, Guy Perea was very helpful with information about the various types of carpeting I was interested in, and he very quickly acquired some larger samples which I could take home. Once we decided, he set a date within a couple of weeks, and the installers who came out, Daniel and Jimmy, were extremely efficient, polite, friendly and very neat. They removed the old carpeting and finished installation of our new carpeting in our main living space, master and 3 smaller bedrooms, in less than 4 days. Abbey Carpet exceeded our expectations. It took us a long time to finally pin down exactly what we wanted and Guy was so patient with us during the process. When we were ready we worked with Kevin. Kevin went above and beyond the call of duty (can we adopt you?). He paid attention to details, was prompt, followed through, and made sure our floor did not squeak. He was truly a dream contractor to work with. There were some other guys on the job too (Robert was one of them) who also went above and beyond (can't remember all their names). Overall the experience with Abbey was impressive. We ended up with Cortec linoleum, which I swore I would never get linoleum again. However, it looks just like wood and is beautiful. The feel is nice on your bare feet and it's easy to clean. I would highly recommend this group to anyone who needs good quality flooring and excellent customer service. I checked out three different companies in Sonora. They seemed to have less selection than the others, but you could not beat their price on a great vinyl plank pattern and an excellent colored carpet. Guy was quick and thorough on his measuring of the house. The floor was scheduled for two weeks later. Due to a miscommunication I was very stressed out about the install change, but because of the fast work of his employees everything finished on schedule. In addition, the employees were great people and the install is beautiful. All in all, I would suggest they not ask people to hand their keys over to have access to their homes in this day and age. Otherwise you are going to get a good deal, great workers, and a beautiful result if you use this company. read more

Installed carpet is great and better than we hoped for. Spent about $2200 total for around 600 sq ft including running it up a full staircase. We wanted to put luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout our entire 3200 sq ft house in the mountains. We understood it was a challenging job due to the odd angled design of our house, many closets/utility area, & we needed the stairs done as well. To add to this challenging request, we had a 'drop dead' date when the install needed to be complete. We are an RV resort that have a Gas station and convenience store. We had Abbey Carpet do the work on the flooring in our back rooms and office. Very professional and quick especially with the distance they had to travel to do the work that was needed. Guy and Bryan were extremely helpful with picking out a flooring that would fit our needs and Guy came up to do the estimate. He was very honest and told us areas we would need to make adjustments for some of our heavier appliances. He was responsive with everything we needed to get the job done and was very knowledgeable. We decided to put the flooring over the existing tile flooring, they filled the cracks and patched some areas to make sure it was prepped properly.
