I'm 49 and seen over 70 percent of old folks or let's say seasoned seniors. The pool is warm to hot because its thermal. The mandatory money you pay for the buffet will leave you wondering why it cost so much for such mediocre food, and you pay for all your drinks to include paying for natural water 3 Euro. And your not allowed to bring you own wine. They promote No Drinking or Eat in the room, but they have soda and beer - drinks in the small refrigerator. And yes it costly. For all Americans remember this is Italy/Europe everything cost. The town outside the resort gates is small, it limits the shopping or activities, forcing you to take t h.g.h e train to bigger cities. Would I visit the spa resort again? NO. The half board killed it for me. 65 euros a day for breakfast and dinner was way too much. Was…read morebooked through RCI for the week but, I left thurs morning and got a room in Venice. 40 euros a night on the Grand Canal and my room was fine. Might be dropping RCI. The staff were excellent though. From the manager and bartender to my server at dinner they were all very helpful. All the staff very good.
