Our luggage was lost, and while having to stand in line at the lost and found, he said he was going to have to leave us there. I'm so thankful he decided to stay! He drove 165 kph at one point, but we made it safe and sound. Other staff members were very nice, breakfast was light but filling, and the rooms had a boutique feel. My biggest complaint... noise!!! Our room was literally 15 ft from the check-in desk. Not the best for a couple of honeymooners who just got off a 12+ hour flight. Then, it was as if a herd of elephants on skateboards decided to move furniture in the room above us. I had to use earplugs to omit at least some of the sound. The hotel served its purpose, so amidst it all, 3 stars.

Accessing the garage can be a bit challenging, though experienced drivers should have no major issues. The rooms are spotless, spacious, modern, and very comfortable. However, we were disappointed with the breakfast buffet, as the selection was quite limited. There are also not many dining options within walking distance of the hotel. Overall, the hotel provided a comfortable and convenient stay for our circumstances, with clean, modern accommodations and good value for money.

The odor was overwhelming, and because the AC wasn't working, the room became extremely hot and stuffy, which made the smell even worse. To make matters worse, the sink in the room was clogged and wouldn't drain. We tried to call the front desk, but the room phone wasn't working either. Since I was staying with my husband, our toddler, and our infant, it was incredibly inconvenient to keep going up and down the stairs just to notify the staff about the problems. We informed the staff about the clogged sink and the strong cigarette smell, but nothing was done about the odor in the room during our stay. The lack of working amenities and the poor response from staff made the experience frustrating and uncomfortable, especially while traveling with small children. Overall, the room conditions and lack of proper assistance made this stay very unpleasant. I hope the hotel addresses these issues so future guests don't have to deal with the same experience.

It's a little bit…read moreaway from the center of the tourist area, but it's cheaper, not crowded at all, safe, quiet, clean and beautiful. It's located in a small town of Mirano, Italy. There's plenty of things to see and do from this hotel if you prefer to stay local and away from the crowded area of Venice. This way you can have the full experience of staying in the locale Italy. The front desk clerks were all accommodating since they seemed to be aware that I don't speak the language. They were helpful and tried to speak in English to help me out. The room was spacious, clean & tastefully decorated, it's a little small, but perfect for my needs. This hotel is conveniently located on a bus route going to Venice where you can find bus and train routes/ stations and water bus. I highly recommend this place to stay if you want to have a home base while you're in Italy.

While the lure to stay on one of the Venice islands is strong, and if you book early and have the money and I'm sure it's amazing, however if you're looking to spend a bit less, and want some peace and tranquility for your holiday, I strongly recommend Mirano, and not just the town, but Villa Patriarca Boutique Hotel specifically. he Villa HP turned out to be everything it promised - and more. Not only did it benefit from the friendliest staff and locals we had met, but the prices were also much more reasonable than Venice and the food - amazing. My mornings consisted of a swim at 9am in their 25 yard pool. Followed by coffee & wifi connecting (free wifi!) to keep up to date with my digital life. Then back to spending a few hours in the pool before lunch and heading into Venice around 4pm - which in the summer, is perfect timing. Even during the busiest seasons, we weren't overwhelmed by tourists and could enjoy a meal as the sun sets - and what better time to see Venice than that. The pictures on the website don't alone do it justice. Highly recommended. Will go again.

I wanna say it was a 15-20 minute drive. I arrived early before normal check in hours but Michael was happy to check me in and thank me For being. Diamond member. I was able to get an upgrade and breakfast was also provided. As I walked to my room I notice how stylish clean the hotel was. My room was perfect with a king size bed, spacious bathroom and sufficient amount of toiletries. The patio area was my favorite I could see myself spending more time in it if it was a bit warmer. I wanted to have a little snack so I headed to the Arco restaurant and enjoyed a salmon Poke bowl while and water. The waiter and bartender Javier were perfect. I then checked out the gym which was perfect for cardio and weight training. It was clean and has water and towels available. In the evening I returned to the same restaurant and decided to go all the way out. I ordered an appetizer which was salmon on a bed of spinach. First course which was pasta, Sam main course, which was pork croquettes and spinach. Followed that with a dessert, chocolate lava cake with white and milk chocolate it was simply delicious. I enjoyed a few glasses of Pinot Grigio, the fresh bread prior to the beginning of my mail. Once again, the waiting staff were professional and knowledgeable. My final night at the Doubletree I decided to end it with relaxation. I'm met a few friends while staying at the hotel, and we were able to reserve the sauna and Turkish bath. This was certainly a hidden gem. We were aware of the pool, but due to the time of year, it was closed, the sauna definitely made up for the pool closure. The following morning I checked out with Michael, who has been nothing but amazing from check-in to check out. I would definitely stay at this Hilton location in the future and recommend it to friends and family.

They do have a shuttle to take you to the airport or to the main island for 12 Euros per person. You have to make a reservation. You cannot walk anywhere as the hotel is in the middle of a highway. Since we were in the middle of no man's land and it was 5 p.m. and the hotel restaurant didn't open till 7 p.m. we ordered room service. The phone didn't work to call room service. We finally called the front desk who told us they'd have room service call us back. Ten minutes later room service calls us and I place my order based on the room service menu. They inform us they only have margarita pizza. Ok...guess we are having that. We left the next day for the airport and it took about a half hour to check out. Something with their computers and printers. In regard to the hotel it was new and clean. The beds were super comfy and the rooms had a mini fridge. I'd recommend this place if you plan on staying at the hotel or will leave in the morning and not plan on coming back till the evening.
