I was referred to Avior Wealth in Plano TX by a reliable source. From the very onset, I…read moreencountered issues with errors their office made. There were two serious errors within the first 90 days. First, they incorrectly invoiced me for a monthly advisory fee when it shouldve been monthly. Since they require payment by ACH, My bank account was debited for duplcate payments. It created inconvenience and time consuming efforts to correct. Next, my advisor made changes to my contributions on my Fidelity account. Due to his error, I did not receive my payroll deposit from my employer. After contacting my employer, I learned my entire payroll had been desposited into my Fidelity account. Fidelity was quick to correct my contributions but I was still left without a paycheck. I withdrew money from my retirement account to cover my bills but this has tax implications I did not need nor anticipate and all created by the financial advisor. I have since entered into a new relationship with a local Fidelity advisor. I have requested a refund of my advisory fee from Avior but have not received. Not only did they not provide the promised services, they created an abundance of inconveniece and a new tax liability next tax day. Shortly after these errors I received an email from Avior advising me the financial advisor was no longer with the company.
