Anthony was quick to respond to inquiry. Very helpful about paint selection, and showed up early. He did an amazing job and finished the work on less than half the time I had expected! Highly recommend him, though I hope he doesn't get too busy that I can't book him for our next phase of painting! read more

I hired Anthony to repaint two of my bedrooms and it looks amazing! They were a gray color and now it's a cloud white and my rooms feel a lot more open and bright. His worker Oscar did the painting and did a great job. They are both friendly and professional. Anthony was also great with communicating and his prices were reasonable. I would definitely use him again if I need any more painting jobs. read more

If I could give Anthony 4.5 stars here, I really would. He was great to work with, but he was just a little mark off perfect. Anthony was one of the many painters I reached out to help repaint the interior of my townhouse. The work consisted of painting almost all the interior walls and ceilings with colors I had picked out beforehand (basically every wall except the bedrooms and bathrooms). I ended up choosing Anthony because he had the schedule that worked out the best for me, and he gave a very good estimate of how long the work will take. I was sceptical at first that the work would be done on time, but he was able to complete it all in 3 days! Not only that, I even added work to repaint the crown moldings on the ceilings after the work had started, and he still managed to get the work done without any delays! He showed up every day at exactly the time he said he would (7am every day), and he always kept me posted about the work at the end of each day. Though the work was done on time, and it came out looking great, there were a few things that kept it from perfect: 1. Anthony did a great job at taking off electrical outlet plates, but there were a few areas that would have gone unpainted if I had not pointed them out while the work was being done. They weren't obvious spots (e.g. the wall space between the inside of my shutters and the window) but it definitely would have been frustrating if I had not caught these before the job was done. When I pointed them out though, he was more than happy to do them. 2. My design had most of the walls a white-grey and a few walls throughout the house accented a dark blue. The accent walls came out mostly great; however, I'm not sure if it's normal, but the edges where the blue meets the white were very uneven where I would expect a mostly straight line. Also, I had painted 3 strokes of 3 different shades of blue as samples on these walls to test the colors out. I'm not sure what happened, but these sample areas on the accent walls aren't completely covered. It's not easy to tell but it's definitely noticeable under my lighting that they were there. These 2 details with the accent walls are pretty minor. They're not enough to make a fuss, but just enough to be a little annoying considering #3... 3. The price. Out of all the painters I received quotes from, Anthony was definitely on the higher end. But, I'll point out again that he was also the one that gave me the fastest schedule that I was really looking for, so I did not mind paying a little more. And in the end, the work really did turn out near-perfect. Anthony was great and friendly the entire time! read more

Anthony was fantastic and a great value! He was so good and professional that I had him paint 2 more doors in addition to the wall he painted. I had a tricky wall with lots of molding and I was painting a dark color. He did 3 coats and it looks amazing! Thank you! read more

I searched Yelp for painters to repaint my condo - the kitchen, laundry room and bathroom. I also needed help to repair the ceiling-meets-the-wall in every room where the previous painters removed the cottage cheese ceiling (that looks great now), but the walls now needed repair. Anthony, the owner, gave me a quote that I found sound. He did a great job! His helper, Oscar is an amazing painter along with Anthony. Oscar painted around the hinges and was perfect! I am very pleased with the completed kitchen, laundry, bathroom. Anthony worked with me to try and find a solution to the ceiling/wall problem and chalked ti beautifully. He tried very hard to match the wall paint. We could not. I will hire him again to now paint the walls in every room. He's the best! -Karyn PS. He is licensed and bonded so I just gave him the keys; very very trustworthy. read more

I have a condo in Playa Vista and had been looking for a painter to paint 2 rooms and a hallway. I called around and Anthony and several other painters I found on Yelp. I chose Anthony because he was extremely friendly AND offered the lowest price of all 5 painters I had spoken with, one of whom was 3 TIMES cheaper (he's the guy we had used on a different job a year ago). On top of that, he got me his 20% discount at Home Depot! What more can you ask for? Well one thing: he offered to do it on a Sunday morning because that's the only time I wasn't at work. How showed up 10 minutes earlier than planned, was prepared with all the necessary supplies, and did a rapid and PERFECT job on the painting! He even helped me install my plasma TV, remove the old TV from the wall, and haul out some unneeded items, all at no charge. I was so grateful, I ended up giving him my old plasma TV and sound system and DVD player! I will DEFINITELY be hiring Anthony again for my next painting job and urge you all to do so as well. read more

This guy is horrible. First he made me sign the contract that I was satisfied with the work as soon as he walked in the door, and said if I didn't sign it he wouldn't do the work. Then he pretended like he was starting the work, but kept calling me to the room for nonsensical things. Then all of a sudden he gets an emergency call, and said he would come back when I had more time. Why does he need ME to have more time for, that doesn't even make sense. Either you have an emergency or you need me to have more time, you could tell he was lying. Wow!!! read more

Anthony is a first rate professional, responsive, and takes great pride in a job well done. I'm fairly detail oriented...and so is Anthony. I hired him to paint my baseboards, and not only did he do a fantastic job, he went above and beyond and did little touch ups for me here and there. He made sure it was as perfect as we could get it, and I was beyond pleased with the result. I'm thrilled with his work, and not only will I hire him again whenever any painting needs come up, I will recommend him to family and friends without hesitation. If you call him, you'll be glad you did. read more

Called Anthony on a Sunday afternoon in a pinch to get our nursery ceiling painted. He responded within minutes and gave me a very reasonable quote. He was able to schedule us an appointment for the very next day! He came on Monday with his helper. They were very fast and professional. The ceiling was done very nicely. They had masks on which put my mind at ease during this pandemic. They also wore shoe coverings. Would highly recommend him! Thanks again! read more

My company recently hired Anthony to paint the exterior of a two story apartment building. This was our second project with him and it came out just good as the first one. Anthony sticks to his timelines, sends picture updates during the job, and is a pleasure to work with. We will definitely use him again in the future. Anthony is outstanding, he painted every room in our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo in Playa Vista. He really has a good eye for color and helped us decide on how exactly we should execute having some more dramatic colors and a more typical white. We looked around for a while and ended up sitting on paint samples for over a year until we found Anthony. At the end of the day the whole place took 4 days and we are still thrilled with how nice it looks. Since supplies is part of the total we had some left over and after a table hit a wall a few months after Anthony was long gone it was easy to fix. Highly recommend, knows what he's doing and does an awesome job. read more

I hired Anthony to give my house a full interior paint prior to moving in. His quote was competitive and his response time to my inquiry quick. He started the job on Wednesday and it was complete by Saturday. (1500 sq ft house) He was patient, knowledgable, hard working and friendly. I will hire him again for any of my future painting needs!! read more

This was my second time using Anthony. The first time was great but the second time was not as good. When Anthony arrived to my condo, we did a walk through and went into my master bath and discussed the walls being painted. In my bathroom on one wall their is a cabinet/wall. Anthony told me he would paint the wall and I assumed the wall around the cabinet. When he finished, I failed to do a walk through with him. After he left I went into my bathroom and noticed how one wall with cabinet was not painted and the other walls were painted. The job in my opinion was not completed. Anthony also rushed to get my place done and had another job that afternoon. I texted Anthony and he told me if he came back to paint that wall it would be an additional $300. I didn't understand why that was not communicated to me initially. Who wants half of a wall not painted and looking tacky. In my opinion, that has a reflection on him as a painter. He did not come back but sent his painter friend who told me that was wrong the way the situation was handled. I agreed with his friend. Anthony work is okay but be sure to do a walk through before he leaves. I recently moved and did not call him to paint my entire home. read more

I needed to do a touch up on my gutters and front trim on the front of my house. I got several quotes and Anthony was not only the most reasonable but also the most responsive. Within a couple days he was at my house promptly at the agreed upon time. At first, I was going to get get the paint myself but after he heard I was pregnant he insisted on getting it himself. That was very, very nice of him. Within 2 hours, the front of the house got a total refresh! I'm very pleased! Thanks, Anthony! read more

I hired Anthony to paint one of my bedrooms after I had some water damage. I was sad about the look of the room. Anthony came in with my paint options and I decided to choose something bright and colorful. What an awesome job! No spills. No mistakes. Timely and professionally done. So much so that I hired him to paint my other 2 bedrooms and front porch. I would definitely recommend him to do any paint work needed. I am certain that I will use him to do something in or outside of my home again. Kudos to you Anthony, your work is amazing. read more

I was extremely happy with the work Anthony and his crew did. After speaking with several people and receiving several in person estimates, I felt really confident Anthony was the right person for the job. His pricing was fair, he was able to meet my time frame, and he was really upfront and honest with me about everything. He even suggested some of the baseboards could probably get cleaned up with a wet rag, which they did....saving money. His crew was extremely polite and respectful. Great group of guys. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Thanks again Anthony! read more

We had such a wonderful experience with Anthony. My husband and I purchased our first home and were in need of a good interior paint job (on a budget). Anthony was the first company to get back to me with a quote, and his pricing was the most affordable. He even provided us with his 20% paint discount at Home Depot which was very helpful! For 4 bedrooms, a long hallway, 2 bathrooms, living room, & dining room, it only took Anthony 3 days. He showed up bright and early each day and had such a warm & professional personality. We really enjoyed working with him and would recommend AB Painting to anyone! read more

We've used AB twice and we're very pleased with his work! We highly recommend AB for your painting needs, 2 thumbs up!

Anthony did a great job on some interior painting at our house. Whether he was painting rooms from scratch or fixing the painting mistakes I'd made earlier, he was careful and conscientious. His experience allowed him to offer solid advice on color and finish choices, and he was always correct in his assessment. He was on time, worked quickly and efficiently, his prices were reasonable (even helped us out with a Home Depot discount) and scheduling was easy - he always got back to me right away. If you've ever painted, you know there are always spots that need touching up at the end. Never fear - at the end of the job, we walked through the entire house doing a spot-check and Anthony finished everything to my satisfaction. We will use AB Painting when we do the exterior of our house, and I recommend Anthony and AB Painting to the Yelp community. read more

Anthony did an excellent job painting our 3 bed 2 bath 2 story house. He is a very talented painter. Our house wasn't easy for painting with stairs and difficult to reach areas. We are very happy we hired him. Very friendly, good price and knows what he is doing. Great painter! read more

Anthony & his assistant came over to complete a job painting a portion of the interior of my home this week. I have 7 kids, 6 of whom still live at home, and it was stressful to just think about having to keep them out of the house all day for the majority of the week while my house would be painted. To my amazement, Anthony & his assistant finished our whole paint job in only 2 1/2 days! Their work is very professional, they didn't cut corners, and even went above and beyond what we originally asked them to do. We realized a few places that actually needed to be painted. Anthony was very generous in meeting our needs. His prices are awesome for the quality work he accomplishes. And to top it all off, we were able to sleep in the house with hardly any paint smell. It was a pleasure meeting Anthony too, he is a positive, happy person who I trusted in my home. This was an important factor to me. So while the kids and I enjoyed a day at the pool and visiting Grandma, my house received an incredible paint job. Thank you so much, Anthony! We will definitely use your services again in the future. read more
