I apologized, explained that my boss had left without notifying me, and let them know I wouldn't be able to make it. Instead of responding professionally or with basic courtesy, I was met with the reply, "Do whatever you want." I understand last-minute cancellations are frustrating, but customer service is measured by how businesses respond when things don't go as planned. A simple "I understand" or "Please let us know if you'd like to reschedule" would have been appropriate. Instead, I received a dismissive and unnecessarily rude response that left me feeling unwelcome. Based on this interaction, I wouldn't feel comfortable booking with this business again. Professionalism and respect should be part of the customer experience, even when a client has to cancel unexpectedly.

I first learned of Excellent Hands through Groupon. Since my initial Groupon, I have purchased two massages as gifts for a friend and family member and a 3-massage package for myself. I used the last one today =( , and if I lived closer, I would undoubtedly purchase a monthly subscription! I will definitely return in the future! Prior to purchasing a Groupon, you may want to call Excellent Hands first to see which days are available for the Groupon, and also inquire how to book the massage to ensure you're comfortable with the online-only booking process. Once I purchased the Groupon, I called him, and he kindly walked me through the process.
