He demanded $1000 deposit to buy the fabric after invoice print. He discussed with my wife and I, it would be lower; however, this would get them started right away with the fabric purchase. Mind you, he was not in possession of the furniture, but assured us by picture(s) it would be much less. 1526.40 isn't remotely considered an attempt to be under $1000! In fact, ensuring someone who's literally deliberating in front of you, if it was even worth that figure, he stepped over, and encouraged "again, this is just an estimate, I've been doing this for 20+ years", so we went forward. I offered 3 pieces of furniture, I explained, what he deemed was fair, would tell me his business model. He gave me $100 for an Iron coffee table with casters sold for $350! $100 for a Iron end table with a drawer/door, sold for $250, and $100 for a Iron table end table, sold for $200. The idea that he somehow saved me money, while making $4000 and making $500 is Ludacris! I gave him an entire living room suit to boot! Sectional, 4 foot ottoman and a recliner, an entirely matching set, maybe 2 years old! His staff corrected me for saying Fort Bragg and absconded me AFTER we made the down payment! Absconding me in front of my wife, diminishing my service, as somehow I served at a "racist" military outpost! "It's For Liberty", that didn't age well, it's Bragg again! He was gracious enough to make 4 pillows from the left over fabric, but 4 pillows were free he stated, ignoring the below $1000 commitment to fabric that cost $1500+!! What did I get in return? Well, we now have 3 pleats on the arm rests of a loveseat that wasn't sent in with pleats! We also, have a glaring pleat on the King Chair, it also, wasn't sent in with pleats! Very poor craftsmanship, and to be so pompous, only for it to back fire(pictures below), refuse the commitment to remain under $1000 for fabric, and make $500+ off of a trade in for Iron 3 piece set, and retain a full living room suit, only to give 7 pleats in $4000 worth of upholstered furniture work is astounding!! The 3 pieces of Iron furniture, full set, brand new $1000+, literally, never used, that I traded in, offset a $300 ottoman upholstery fee, BUT he still charged me for the fabric, despite making $500+ dollars and receiving a full living room suit. I called him today, the Owner, he stated he wouldn't apologize for the craftsmanship, he said "I admit, we do charge more than anyone around, solely because of craftsmanship, and I refuse to apologize for my guys". They may do exceptional work, but I saw nothing but poor customer service and poor craftsmanship and poor business dealings, and poor commitments. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Today though the tall blond that works here was so very hateful to me. I literally left in tears. I will not return EVER! I am hearing impaired in my right ear, my daughter was on the phone with me and my phone obviously has to be on my left side to hear. I do not know my own volume when this is happening. She came up to me and very rudely told me I was being loud, I immediately apologized and was super embarrassed! She then kept on by saying people were lookin at me and when I apologized again she said yeah and rolled her eyes and walked away. I was completely understanding bc I do know that I can't hear well. She however was so hateful after my apology and it was uncalled for! I then emptied my basket and left with tears in my eyes.

Much easier than the old way of organizing by item color, I've never understood that reasoning?! Staff was very happy even while working on Memorial Day. (Thanks to all our former Veterans) I was able to score a great bargain on some Adidas Sambas and a pair of Sorel boots for a total of just $11!! Next time I'm in Marion this will be a must stop.
