I had requested assembly of a kitchen sink cabinet. The response and quote were quick. Larry came…read moreout the next day and was very pleasant and did a good job putting together a poorly constructed cabinet. Unfortunately, the sink I wanted to use didn't fit safely but he did everything he could to accommodate my requests. He takes pride in his work and I would recommend him to anyone.

Oh my goodness. These people are horrible. I hired the to install tile. The first week, they…read moresent a person , 1 person despite saying it would be a "crew". The man did not bring proper tools, kept saying he would, never did, and I ended up buying the tool to try and expedite. Owner never tried to provide tools needed and blamed the guy he hired. Week one was spent taking up 200 sq ft of old floor but not all the motar. Power said he had aa crew down with prior job. Could start Monday. I would have all three. I had 3 guys half a day. Ended up one guy, everyone else gone. Poor communication. One day I am told "tomorrow, final demo and dry fitting cement board. Didn't happen. There was another day of demo and some incorrect dry fitting. This is the point at which I said no more. What really sent me over the edge was they turned my water off on Wednesday and I advised multiple times I had an appointment and needed to leave by 230. The owner was supposed to come back before I.Left and turned the water back on. He texted me at two twenty seven and said he was about twenty minutes away. I was so mad and I had to go, so I did if they were. Said he'd come back that night later from Bloomington. I guess and turn the water back on, but I said, forget it. I tried to do it myself, and I couldn't, so I spent a night without water. It is so disrespectful, in my opinion to tell somebody. You will be there before they leave. But then don't be there, and they end up having a night without any water. I had new flooring company come out who said as they looked in the bathroom that they had broken my plumbing pipe. Now I have to have that replaced and have a drywall person in to fix that. I asked for a refund of the unspent.Amount I had paid up front. The owner is giving me the run. Around and now he won't respond at all. I have a lot of texts that show everything i'm saying, if anybody wants to see them. The owner told me that I have very unrealistic expectations. That could be true. But when the new flooring guys told me what it would take to fix the problems this company caused, it's less time than these guys already spent here. One of the workers for this company also told me that the they have been working on a job in Champaign for a month and a half, and they're nowhere near done. That's unverified by me. But now I have to sue this guy to get my money back. Also to get money for the plumbing that they damaged. And the drywall repair, which is another three hundred and fifty dollars. Beware. The values you read on their website which say what they are committed to are absolutely untrue, as it relates to my experience with them.

Kristen Long, Realtor of: 2009 Fox Dr. Suite G. Champaign…read more Kristen sold my house in Colony West in April, 2021. At the very beginning, Kristen lost the whole set of the keys I gave her for my condo. Kristen, my listing agent, wasn't always aware when buyers showed up at the condo. my tenants got very upset because they weren't informed. I gave Kristen my handyman's contact but she did not call him. 3 times she asked for handyman's contact. Each time she said because she did not save it properly. 3 days before our scheduled closing date (4/12/21), I was still nagging Kristen to schedule appointment with handyman. She pushed back and asked why I cannot make this appointment myself. She told me she had called handyman a few times, complained that handyman never returned her calls. Handyman told me he never got a call from Kristen. Handyman took screen shots of his cell phone history of the week prior, which shows ZERO CALLS from Kristen. 2 days before our scheduled closing I got upset, then Kristen scheduled the handyman and have him rushed to finish work list in 1.5 days, it was a weekend. Kristen did not accompany handyman, Nor did she check handyman's work after completion. She turned handyman's invoice to title company and never checked his work. On buyer's final walk through, buyer complained that the work was not complete. Kristen simply asked me to hire handyman back and pay the extra. I told Kristen it was Realtor's job to make sure handyman's work is complete before turn invoice to Title company. I am an absentee owner, I did not live in Champaign. Kristen understood that. I also told her I'm afraid we are closing tomorrow we may not have time to have handyman rescheduled. The next morning April 12 (our scheduled closing date), Kristen told me we are not able to close. That was it. She did not explain any reason. The next day, April 13, my handyman presented me a bill of extra $50. I said how come you didn't give Kristen so she can forward to Title company. He said Kristen is unreachable. I paid the $50 to handyman. (I understand this should be Kristen's responsibility. She did not check work upon completion, she also should give this $50 to title company.) Kristen never answered any calls. When I called, she only text me back. She was always in meetings, conferences. She will say: "I have meeting until 5pm and won't be able to call until then." One time I said: " Fine, please call me after 5pm, I'll wait." Then she said:" Oh, I have kids soccer until 9pm, then I have to do this paper work, that paper work, I won't be able to call until 11pm." On April 14, I called my attorney's office, they told me my escrow was closed on April 13. I DID NOT hear this news from my Realtor!!!
