The repair of our three-year-old LG dishwasher has been going on since April 27, 2026. We…read morepurchased the extended warranty and have had numerous service calls. The first time it was repaired, it worked twice and died, and the other times the wrong part was given to the technician. It's obviously a lemon, but because of the terms of the extended warranty (that's another story), a new dishwasher can't be considered at this point. Throughout this situation, I've called a few people and left voicemails, none of which were returned. It was only after going into Duggans that the salesperson connected me to their "Service Specialist" in Pittsburgh. I pretty much got nowhere. As frustrating as this situation has been, the lack of customer service has taken it to an entirely different level. Their method of contact is a text that you receive a day or two before the scheduled service and a lame text apologizing that the unit couldn't be repaired. The only reason I know our next service call is 7/20 is because I called their service center. Their claim of "Exceptional White Glove Service" is ludicrous. Do yourself a favor ... avoid LG products and most importantly, avoid Duggans Appliances.

Then, a random replacement cord showed up at my house with no explanation. Despite how they advertise, Dugan's is not a small family business--they're part of a large corporation (Don's Appliances in Pittsburgh), and it's nearly impossible to reach anyone beyond the local salesperson. Since sharing my story, I've heard from many others who've had similar issues with damaged products and nonexistent customer service. It's wrong to treat people this way, and since few speak up, I will. Save yourself the trouble--shop elsewhere like Fullerton's or online. Dugan's is not what they claim to be.
