We recently bought a couple Rain Wizard 65 gallon urns from Walmart. Nice price (especially after local rebates of $75 each) and they are about as attractive as rain barrels can be! After we got the urns we realized that constructing a stand was going to be a lot more work than we envisioned. We looked on the typical web sites (Walmart, Hayneedle, Target and others) but couldn't find stands for this particular model. THEN I poked around and found the manufacturer's web site (http://www.goodideasinc.com/). I found the stands we needed and ordered two. I was somewhat concerned when I never received an order confirmation from Good Ideas. I followed up to the email listed on my PayPal receipt and my email was rejected. So, I called the company and they said they don't send out any confirmation or tracking info until the order is shipped, usually 7-10 business days I think. When I filled out a contact form on their web site a couple days ago, I didn't receive a response. I was still waiting for feedback from Good Ideas and was surprised to find one of the stands delivered yesterday, and it said box 1 of 2. So I was a little concerned about the second box and called Good Ideas again, found out the other stand will be delivered today and the rep sent out tracking info to me without asking. Anyway, my point is not to complain but to emphasize that this is a legitimate business and we are very happy with the products. I assume they do mostly wholesale/commercial sales and aren't ideally set up for dealing directly with the consumer. read more

Most rain barrels you get on line are cheap and shoddy, but the one we got from Good Ideas (which we purchased through Hayneedle) is overall well designed and constructed. I was particularly impressed with the brass fitting, because the other ones have leaky plastic ones. When I wrote an email to point out that the inlet screen was faulty, the company IMMEDIATELY e-mailed me with an offer to send a replacement out to me, and followed up promptly. This is an American business with an excellent customer service ethic -- I'm very pleased. read more
