Since sharing my story, I've heard from many others who've had similar issues with damaged products and nonexistent customer service. It's wrong to treat people this way, and since few speak up, I will. Save yourself the trouble--shop elsewhere like Fullerton's or online. Dugan's is not what they claim to be.

After a few more weeks we had to have them come out because it stopped spinning so they "fixed it" again. About 1 month later we had to have them come out YET AGAIN because the washer was making extremely loud noises so they "fixed it" by putting plastic covered on the bottom of the washer. Here we are now almost a year out and our BRAND NEW WASHER FROM FULLERTONS is still a LEMON. They said they would be here at 9am to look at it because I work at 10am. Located just off Peach Street about 1 1/2 miles from I-90 I found Mel & Tee's easy enough. The front half of the store is mainly a hobby shop, some cool stuff but not what I was looking for. Luckily there is a door to the back of the store which is stuffed with a wide variety of items, collectibles, furniture, home goods and enough to keep you looking for a little while. For me the only item that interested me was a vintage wood stick puppet from Java/Indonesia. The puppet stood out as a very unique and high-quality item, although it did have a bit of damage to one of the hands. The price was about right, but a bit more then I wanted to spend. Luckily I started talking to the very nice lady at the register and she said that they were willing to deal on the item. I made a bid at the lower end of what I thought was fair and she accepted. I ended up getting a great one-of-a-kind item at great price. If you are looking to check out a local thrift store in Erie, Pa.
