None stars will be given on my behalf due to the fact that I was forced to try to keep furniture that was infested with bedbugs, and each time I submitted pictures and called no one would come out finally did and I was told that there was no bedbugs from them. The general manger Mark is very rude and actually had the nerve to call me a liar when not one one but two of his employees didn't stop my auto draft .... When my item is paid off which thank god will be soon I WILL never get anything from them again. These guys cant communicate with each other to save their life. THEY openly admitted to messing up my payment in September and it kicked me out of their auto pay system. I had no idea. Next thing I know I'm getting letters about being behind. I call in, make a payment and set up an agreement to get the rest of it caught up. They didnt properly document or communicate that with each other so I wake up today to another full payment taken out of my account. I call the store, talk to the mgr. Billy (whose screw up in September caused this mess to begin with) who basically tells me the other guy didnt document all that was supposed to be and his agreement with me "wouldn't of mattered anyway." I have never done business with a place that one doesnt know what the other is doing so much before. I'll be glad to be done with them. read more

Do not give your business to this company who allows the GM in Charleston, SC to continue to receive negative customer reviews specific to Mark, their GM for the store located on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston, SC. Mark told me he does not care about any personal customer life circumstances and that I cannot speak to anyone else in the store when I simply asked to speak to my account manager when I called to update my phone number and ask to pay 4 days past my due date. He went off on me, questioned my like I was in an interrogation. He threatened to take my stuff and had the nerve to have an attitude like his job can exist without us customers. Mark needs to be fired because he obviously forgot that Aarons target market is people who struggle credit wise, and as such he is uneducated to realize that these people come to the company and pay the astronomical costs for their items because they are in a financial bind. Aarons even sends out letters offering to help if a customer is having payment challenges. Mark is a LIAR and obviously did not realize who he was talking to. I do not tolerate that when I am spending my money, so he will end up regretting that conversation. I am going to do everything in my power to expose him and unfortunately because Aarons has ignored all the other customer complaints with the better business bureau and google and has kept Mark as a GM, Aarons will suffer the repurcussions because of Mark. Our country is just now trying to recover from the deaths and job loss and financial devastation of Covid and Mark could care less. For him, it is dollars before customers. Mark talked to me and I realized through his words, verbal abuse and dismissive behavior, that he sees us customers that have to turn to Aarons, as poor trash who he can look down on and treat like the pathetic bad credit people he sees us as. Well, he picked the wrong person this time. I have spent my life in the field of law, representing those who suffer in life, and I SHALL use every avenue possible to not only expose Mark, but also Aarons as tolerating, accepting and supporting his behavior. read more

I leased furniture from this company temporarily, advised them that I would be returning the furniture. Called to schedule several times for pick up.. no call or show from this company. I missed 4 days of work no apologies were made. I continued to pay because I didn't want to be in bad standings with the company.. my 5th schedule for pickup resulted in another missed day of work. I was told that the pickup would take place between 11 and 3 p.m. the truck drivers showed up at 7 p.m. and damaged my property. Scratched up walls, put holes in my walls, dented my door, and a host of other things. I've called the store numerous amounts of times and spoke to several people pretending to be management..... I was told to send pictures to the store manager several times... I've called corporate and nothing has still been done... DO NOT rent or lease anything from this company..... read more

I have been a customer of Aaron's for over 40 years.I have had only one problem and that resulted in my fault. I have always gotten good quality merchandise and very good service.The stores I have dealt with down Rivers Ave.next to where Western Auto used to be, and I have followed them every since then. I cannot say enough about their services because they have always come to the rescue or provided me with a new product of which I had.I am now going to order some electronics today in time for Christmas,and I know I will be just as pleased as I was so many years ago and up til today.Thank you Aarons for providing me with the best service and merchandisefor so very long.by the way,the folks who work in your stores have always been well groomed for their job and the personalities and professionalisms are A-one.Thank you for all you have done to keep me satisfied. do not deal with them they will tell you anything to get a payment from you. they told us about a month ago that they would repair our couch we paid up and the mgr kept stalling and would not commit to fixing our paid couch. i told them i would make a payment when our couch is fixed and not before. we had two payments left on the washer and dryer and now they refused our payment for the bed and if they want that they can have it. i am done with them. do not buy anything from aarons on rivers avenue. go to crusaders or buy used appliances. read more
