I remember this family business as a kid, and my parents have shopped here a lot. The owner delivered for free, hooked up, & ran a cycle to show me everything it did. He also gave me an estimate on a freezer of ours that went down as I needed for a claim for the insurance company. Even called the supply house and they had the part in stock. I went to the supply house the same day picked up the circuit board for $95 and installed. Furnace had same problems. Called Ables back and asked if the tech could come back out and look at it. They wanted to charge me another $88 diagnostic fee, $400 for the circuit board work, said they couldn't use the board I bought even though it was the board that their tech had inquired about less than 8 hrs before. I called Thorne and tech came out he diagnosed that it was a loose wire in the ignitor (a completely different part of the furnace) fixed it in 10 minutes and inspected the rest of the system for me for a great rate. Furnace has been working great since.
