Aaron photographed our wedding back in 2007 before gay weddings were cool. He, on the other had was extremely cool about everything. We had interviewed several photographers and none of them put me more at ease or had the talent and creativity Aaron has. He has this amazing ability to see things from an angle no one else would think to shoot from. The day of the event, at hearing the news that one of our guests had parents living in an apartment that overlooked our rooftop wedding site, he immediately rushed over to the balcony of the relatives apartment and caught some of the most amazing overhead shots of our wedding site. The candid shots he took during the wedding are my favorite -- all snot-nosed and tears, he still made me look good! :) Since the wedding, we have had our son photographed by Aaron and he did such an amazing job. We love every shot and he had some truly unique ways of making my son laugh and look at the camera the way no other 2 yr old would normally do. I cannot say enough amazing things to truly describe how wonderful Aaron is. From our first meeting I have felt that he was more of a friend than anything else, and he is so warm and friendly and accommodating that you immediately feel at ease with him. He is so fairly priced and I so appreciated that. I'm sorry- but to me, no photos will ever be worth $4,000 or $5,000, and any photographer who charges that is shameful. Aaron was worth every penny (and more!) and the fact that you don't have to pay per photo and that he gives everyone access to all of the photos and high def files is AWESOME and totally worth it in itself. I honestly didn't even notice him during the ceremony and there were photos from every angle- so I'm thinking he must be able to teleport because I have no clue how he was able to get so many perspectives without him climbing over our guests. I don't usually like taking photographs because I feel uncomfortable but I never felt like that the whole day with him. After searching for a professional who was open to working on a same-sex wedding without necessarily being gay themselves, we had almost given up.
