After paying the $1,075 they identified the issue and Garret's manager said it was not covered under the $1,075 initial charge, that Garrett told me incorrectly, and it would be another $650 on top of that for a total of $1725. They fixed what needed to be fixed, but now I am left with a drywall repair and a $1725 bill for about 4-1/2 hours of work. Can't help but feel like I got taken advantage of and next time I will call a different electrician with an hourly rate. Everything I'm seeing, Mister Sparky was 3-4x more expensive than the normal hourly rate. There was also a fire alarm and 1 light switch that was left disassembled that I will have to have them come back to reassemble.
