Aaron Care Home, in Hamilton, Montana, is the friendliest, most family-like assisted living home I have ever encountered. My elderly mother lived there for eight years, and the attention to her care and comfort and happiness was unmatched by any facility we visited or that she ever resided in.
After her husband died, my mother had a guardian ad litem appointed. My mom was entering the first stages of dementia. She had gone to Hamilton to live with my sister, but when her need for care exceeded what my sister could give, the guardian ad litem recommended Aaron Care Home. It was the best recommendation we ever got. My husband and I live in the Puget Sound area, and when we would visit my mom, we could see how well-cared for she was. "Rachel, are you warm enough? Would you like a sweater?" "Rachel, do you feel like a snack?" "Rachel, it's time for us to walk you into breakfast." And right up to the last year of her life, they would hold on to her and walk her into the dining room, because they wanted her to keep her mobility.
