We can't actually speak to The Grout Doctor/Matt's work, but would like to give him 5 stars for…read moreprofessionalism and honesty. We weren't sure how to maintain or possibly repair our travertine tile and grout in our house so we asked Matt for recommendations and an estimate. He came out, evaluated the tile, and was candid in revealing that much of the wear of our tile was typical, and that most interventions to maintain cosmetic appearance often yielded little appreciable result but came with high cost. Moreover, he mentioned that based on the type of grout we have, the best thing we can do is regular routine cleaning and he recommended a safe sealant that could be applied ourselves. We really appreciated his time and honesty!

Ever since we remodeled three…read moreyears ago and had new ceramic tile installed, we had not been happy with the grout color or the ability to keep it clean. Seeing a print ad, we called The Grout Doctor. JJ was prompt in his reply and on-time for the appointment to see our problem and give an estimate. We found him to be thorough and knowledgeable. His estimate was based on square footage and was reasonable. We agreed on a date for the work to be done, less than a week out. JJ himself arrived on-time and was the one-man crew. His work was labor intensive, on the floor on hands and knees. He cleaned and stripped the tile floors, re-colored the grout and sealed it all in one day. This guy is a hard worker! Our floors are finally the way we want them. In addition, JJ was very respectful of our home, and when he left there was absolutely no additional clean up to be done. JJ knows his stuff, does a good job, works hard and is a very pleasant and personable young man.

They responded the same day and gave me an estimate after I provided a description and measurements of what carpet I was having cleaned. Johnathon was the guy that came out to do the work and he was fabulous. He was kind and really explained how he was cleaning my carpets. He first looked for pet stains for me because I have dogs. He lifted and cleaned under most furniture and put styrofoam blocks under the legs. My carpets look wonderful now! They look like they are brand new. I have had other carpet cleaners out in the past and they don't even compare to what my carpets look like now and they also didn't move any furniture at all and were even more expensive! There was one small spot by my couch that dried a bit spotty so I sent COIT a message again and they had Jonathan back out the next day to touch it up. It worked great and I'm so pleased they accommodated my request. They were very nice about it too! I would definitely recommend this company. Excellent job, competitive pricing, nice staff, and 100% guarantee.

Within a couple of…read moremonths the grout began turning white, and the tile became dull with what looks like a white residue. The floor now looks worse than it did before the cleaning. I called COIT several times for help, and the only advice I got was to use Bona products. When their floor technician came out, he told me the job would need to be redone for another $1,800. That's when I learned COIT doesn't guarantee its work, which I wish I'd known before paying. COIT charges more than other companies, and for that price I expected quality work and a company that stands behind it. I got neither, and I feel misled. I won't use COIT again. If you're considering them, ask about guarantees up front and get other quotes first.
