On November 9th, 2018 our home was fully engulfed in fire. The next morning it was deemed unsafe to keep what was left standing therefore our home was then demolished and leveled to the ground. We lost nearly everything especially 3 dogs who were near and dear to our hearts...part of the family! Our home was said to be a large loss situation. Servpro came in and the first thing they allowed us to do was search for the dogs that had perished. For 2+ days we were allowed to so a fine search through all of the rubble. We were successful in finding 2 of the 3 dogs. Then the Servpro team terrifically headed by Aldo gently and respectfully went through every inch of the house. Politely asking me all along the way if I wanted to try and keep some of the things they found. They inventoried and took pictures of all that was recognizable and possibly recoverable. They took back to their shop a few things we asked them to remove the smoke smell from. A few weeks later we received them in such terrific shape. I cannot begin to tell you how deeply respectful and hard working Aldo, Alex and his team were throughout this very, very painful process. We lost our home of 15 years and animals. Throughout this whole process we were treated so cold and badly by the "big" companies, i.e, Comcast, State Farm and more. ServPro of Kendal County and Caton Crossing Animal Clinic were head and shoulders above everyone else expressing care and concern for our loss. I NEVER write reviews...this is my first and more than likely my only review...ServPro of Kendall County deserves all of the credit possible for their compassionate care for our situation.
