I've already signed and completed my visit, and there was no discussion of extra costs at that time. Patients deserve transparency and honesty -- not surprise charges after the fact. I would not recommend this office to anyone until they fix their billing practices and treat patients fairly.

She did not explain anything to us, as she was rushed and spent 1/4 of the time that Dr. Rizvi spent with us. In addition to the disappointment we had with this other rheumatologist, her staff was rude, hard to get a hold of, and overcharged us several times. I had no idea and they wanted me to pay $80 upfront for the two combined. I didn't have it because I was unaware . The receptionist started to get unprofessional and loud with me and wouldn't allow me to see the DR. I walked out and called to inform Dr. what happened that day . We spoke about it and made an arrangement plan and she said she would handle it etc and now they called me today 09.23.2026 saying I owed a $25.00 late and cancellation fee , like really? How when I was there and want allow to see the Dr. I like Dr . Hassan but her staff is unpleasant and needs to go . They know nothing about customer service and they do not empathize with you knowing you are in pain etc and need to see the Dr for your meds. No listening skills , and they deny you for asking to speak directly to the Dr or higher management. I will not be going here again and will be filing a complaint etc

Over the past couple of months, I've had several appointments and have needed to reach out to the office for various reasons. Scheduling is quick -- appointments are set within weeks, not months. When I call, I reach a live person after just one automated prompt. If the office needs to return my call, the response comes within hours, not days. When you are her patient, it is not the best time in your life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and she was recommended to me by my surgeon Dr. Bonefas. I told my BFF who I was seeing. Low and behold, my BFF had taught Dr. Joyner's children. Small world. After meeting her, I could totally see myself hanging out with this woman. Her personality is delightful and she has a great sense of humor. I know you would not think that at a time like this your doctor would be cracking jokes. She wasn't, it was me. My humor kept me going. When it reached a point that I could no longer take the pain to go to work, Dr. Joyner wrote a note so I could work from home. No one needed to hear me moaning and groaning. I really was hoping that I could make it the entire time and be in the office. Yeah not so much. In addition to her being so knowledgeable and kind, her staff is amazing. From the receptionist, her nurse Suzanne, the techs (sorry guys I can only recall one name) Dale and the two gals. Everyone was great. Going to radiation therapy is no walk in the park whatsoever. And Dale was on the money when he said it will get worse before it gets better. Good golly! I called and spoke to Dr. Joyner and she is going to write another note. She made sure I had meds to help with the pain and gave me further instructions on what to slather myself with. It is a journey. If you are looking for an oncologist/radiologist, I cannot imagine anyone in the Houston area any finer than Dr. Joyner. She is a doll and knows her stuff! 1,000 Halley puppies wag their tails and look for the techs and yell "Who's Deanna?" (FYI - I said a line from The Walking Dead each day before I was zapped to signal that I was ready. I tried to keep my sense of humor going even under adverse conditions.)
