He was AMAZING! He offered to help us in any way we needed and continued to check on us as we called and waited for BMW Mobile service. After they came and couldn't figure out what was wrong, it was Javii who suggested we disconnect and reconnect our battery. After that, our car started right up. We tried to tip Javii but he wouldn't accept anything. He was just happy to help us and that we were able to continue our trek home. Another gentleman, Eddy, was getting gas when this first happened and he also offered to help, and even came back later when he saw we were still there to again offer help. At a great location, in the corner of Old Ironsides Blvd (Globalreach Dr) and Sergeant Major Blvd you will find Sergeant Major Bldv Express Shoppette and gas station. The shoppette is adjacent to a small shopping mall/food court featuring a Barbers shop, pizza hut, subway, burger king with drive thru, and H & R Block. They use to also have an armed forces bank and a GMC but they both shut down during the pandemic. Like all Express shoppette gas stations they sells class six items, coffee, energy drinks, slushies, candy, chocolate, chips, beef jerky, refrigerated sandwiches, protein bars, protein powders, protein shakes, wine openers, a few pharmacy over the counter items, some toiletries, a fee items for your vehicle and some useful items for your military uniform. Ample parking lot. They take Cash, military star card or any chip debit/credit card. There is also a food truck outside during lunch hours. The food served varies on the food truck on that week, it could me Mediterranean, bbq, Caribbean, asian or German. There is also free air pump outside.

Unfortunately, nearly every visit has been a negative experience. First incident: I walked in to get coffee, and before I could even finish preparing it, an employee approached me with a bad attitude and asked if I was planning to fill my cup with only creamer. I politely replied, "No, ma'am." Second incident: I stopped in again and decided to use the self-checkout. The machine accepted my cash but did not complete the transaction. When I informed the clerk, she responded, "Oh yeah, it doesn't take cash," and asked me to wait. As a result, I ended up being 10 minutes late for work. Third incident: I arrived one morning to find the store completely closed, which again disrupted my morning routine and left me without coffee before work. Fourth incident (6/22/26): While my XL coffee was brewing, I approached the register and politely asked if the clerk could ring up the coffee while it finished brewing. The employee was on her phone, and it felt as though I interrupted her conversation. She turned to me and rudely stated that I could not do that and needed to bring the coffee to the register. I asked why, since the coffee was clearly visible, and she again responded in a rude tone that it was against store policy. If that's the policy, I can respect that. However, what bothered me was the way I was treated. Immediately after speaking to me, she turned back to her phone conversation and said, "Anyways, like I was telling you..." I understand that employees have policies to follow, but there is no excuse for consistently poor customer service and disrespectful interactions. I simply want to purchase a cup of coffee before work, and unfortunately, every visit seems to come with a new issue. I hope management addresses these concerns and works to improve the customer experience at this location. This morning was the final straw. I decided to take my business elsewhere, where the coffee was just as delicious--if not better--and the customer service was a 10 out of 10. It was refreshing to be treated with courtesy and respect as a paying customer. I would rather spend my money at a business that values its customers than continue supporting a store where poor service seems to be the norm.
