When I had my siding installed several years ago they were great. Super responsive but a piece fell off last year and it took months for someone to come fix it. It fell off again immediately after the fix and this time the piece broke. I've been waiting for 5 months for someone to come fix the issue. Now I'm not getting any response. In January of 2019 i purchased as new roof for my home. The install was to replace the plywood under the shingles and install a new metal roof. Before we began we paid a service to get raccoons out of our attic which we did. During the install they took down to area we blocked off so the raccoons could not get back in and they assured me that the raccoons could not get back on the roof to get in the attic. A month or two after the raccoons broke back through and got back in the attic. They did the install with out replacing the plywood as I purchased and try took off our gutter guards the we had put in when we updated our gutters the year before. We noticed the guards were not on and they did replace them with lesser quality guard then we purchased. The guards did what they were supposed to do and they kept the gutter clear. After the install we fixed our ceiling and with in the first two years we had a leak in the same area as we had before. When we had a them come to look and the worker said they the plywood was not replaced when they did the install. They once again said they fixed the leak and again we had them come and repair the leak. We called to inform them about the leak on Oct 23. After multiple calls and finally filling a complaint with the better business bureau they once again came to repair the roof and repair our ceiling in the kitchen. Which the repair was not completed and they never came to finish. With in a month we have marking on the ceiling again for the third time since getting the "New" roof. Now the company still will not replace, or even fix my roof. They are causing us to possibly lose a sale of our house which as become a major need for us to sell. read more

I have always had great service but I called in the spring. Someone came out to take care of issues with gutters which they installed. It started to rain so service person left and said someone would call to reschedule. No one called for a couple weeks. I called and was told I was 3rd on the list but they were busy with roofing projects. I continued to call and was always put off with no one available. Now they don't answer the phone. Do NOT use AAA. They hired an incompetent subcontractor to do siding work and the project manager never set foot on the property before the project or while the work was being done, which led to about a dozen different issues with the siding (and the police ended up getting involved). The communication throughout was very poor, with us usually having to call them to get answers on stuff they said they would get back to us on. And despite a 3 month long odyssey for them to finally finish their work (with additional police involvement!) they did not even give us the courtesy of a discount on the original project price. We are probably going to replace our roof in the next year or 2 and there is not a chance that we will be using AAA for that work. AAA is not a company to do business with. read more

DO NOT hire AAA unless you are in no particular hurry to get the job done and not too fussy about the quality of the work and/or materials being used. I signed a contract and paid a deposit for a sunroom in July 2023 and was told it would be done in October, November at the latest. October came and went. November came and still no word from AAA. I called to find out when they planned on starting. I got the run around with no real answer. I was told that they were still waiting for some of the materials. I wasn't convinced that that was even true. December, January, February came and went. In March, I called again, having heard nothing from them, and still did not get any satisfactory information. They did not begin the work until late May, and even then it was a little work on one day, then nothing for days, then a little more. It was July before the job was finished, such as it is. The locks on the windows don't work, and the concrete steps are very poorly done. I am going to try to patch them myself to smooth them out. And as a special bonus, I will be digging up chunks of concrete, rocks, styrofoam, etc. from my yard and flower beds for months to come. Do yourself a favor and do a little more research. You can surely find a better company. I would not wish this experience on anyone. read more

The install went great. The contractor they had on their staff was A+. His works were flawless and looked and still looks perfect. He worked non-stop during the rain and shine that day and did a professional job on both the front and back door. I give him kudos on the quality he performed. I got windows from them a year ago and things were great. This summer I had more windows and a couple doors I wanted done and that's when the problems started. The salesman missed appointments. Before I get the to the complete disorganization in their scheduling personnel, let me tell you my real shock. I am a professional who owns several homes. I run my own business. I have my own checking account. But I am also a woman. I was shocked when they asked if I was married and then insisted that my husband be there when I got the estimate. Then when I persisted that husband would not be there because this is a home that I own, not him, they explained to me that he needed to be there because they were "sure that I would have a lot of questions. And would need to make a lot of decisions like style and color of roofing." No. He won't be there. "Are you sure? I'll just schedule something later in the day so he can be there." No. This is just going to be me. "Okay, we will call you back later today to confirm." What? Is this 1824? I do have real money that spends just the same as my husband. Why is a roofing company telling me who needs to explain what to me? Now, on to the customer service. I called several weeks ago to arrange for an estimate. They said that someone would call me back in 24 hours. Okay. 24 hours. No one. 48 hours. No one. Two weeks later, a call confirming my appointment for next Friday. Uh, I didn't make an appointment, but sure, I'll take it, because I'm finishing up bids that week. Today, the day before my appointment I received the above call. They just called back a few minutes ago to let me know that they didn't have time to schedule an appointment with me on Friday because they were already booked up (you know you scheduled this appointment and confirmed it last week, right?). Needless to say, this silly woman didn't reschedule. She will be writing her check of pretend girl money to a roofing company with a little professionalism. read more

The reason we never got to see their work was because the serviceman (salesman) refused to talk to my wife without me present. When she explained that she handled these things for our household he still refused, when she further explained that if something major came up than she could always involve me if needed, he still refused! I haven't purchased anything with AAA, but am willing to judge this book by the cover and provide the highest possible rating (this is golf, right?) based on a window bid/sales appointment alone. That's how much I already love AAA! Pros: -The door-to-door marketing approach to set consumers up with fee estimates is super convenient! Who doesn't want to deal with some 20-something at your door at 6pm on a Monday while you're trying to bribe your toddler to eat dinner! "Saying yes will get you off my driveway?" "Well, lock it in then bud!" -The sales rep was so awesome that he spent THREE HOURS at my house, rather than the 90 minutes that was communicated via one of the 3 interactions I had with other employees to confirm my appointment (and of course to confirm whether I was the only home owner and that I didn't need my husband there). I'm no customer service expert, but this sure exceeds my expectations! -Once the sales rep realized that my husband wasn't home, he was quickly able to adjust his communication skills in a way that allowed him to mansplain everything to me in terms that my tiny lady brain would be able to process. -Once it was established that - no I won't be committing to anything today, despite your offer of taking 30% off if I did so - the sales rep was kind enough to remind me in a few subtle ways that he drove all the way to Bloomington from Decatur, and that he is 100% commission sales. Oh yeah, and that he wants to retire. What an inconsiderate host I was! I should have thought about these things when the 20 something with a polo and a clip board showed up at my house during dinner time! Cons: -None! I'm still having nightmares and it's been over a year since my install. I personally believe that this is the worse experience with a business that I have ever had. I've been a homeowner for 34 years. I bought this house 4 years ago and decided to have the roof replaced before I retire. There were no leaks or anything, I just did not know when the roof was last replaced. AAA hired a crew of men that could not speak English very well and they were very inappropriate, making sexual comments, asking me to cook for them, and using my fold-a-way lawn chairs that were in my garage, without my permission. The workmanship was horrible. They removed box vents and replaced them with ridge vents. Did not cover the openings from the box vents. They installed the gutters on top of debris from the gutters they removed. It was black stuff hanging behind the gutters at the front door. There were gaps all around the gutters, and they look unfinished. Thank God I took pictures of everything. The gutters leak and run over in spots causing water to pool in several places. The gutter guard was shabbily installed in several places, causing water to run over the gutter guard instead of running through the gutters. It is unbelievable. The roofers brought their microwave and plugged it into my garage to cook their food. I had several power tools drills, etc. that are missing, but the cases are still stacked on the garage shelves. Imagine my surprise when a couple of months later I went to get a drill for my nephew to mount my TV, to find a bunch of empty cases. They used cheap inadequate extension cords that blew out the power and fried one of my outside receptacles. I had to call an Electrical company out twice. The Electrical company yelled at the roofers and told them that they know that the raggedy extension cords were inappropriate. My electric bill practically doubled that month. AAA did not even get permits to do the work. The production manager Kenny is a joke. It was agreed that if there was any weak or damaged plywood, they would replace the boards. They slapped the shingles on top of weak and damaged plywood. When I called and complained it took forever for Kenny to come out and review the poorly done work. He parked down the street in a plain white truck, without AAA's logo. He watched me sweep the porch and sidewalk for 10 minutes before he got out of the vehicle. I was suspicious so I called relatives and told them there was a weird man in a white truck watching me. When he approached me, he said AAA's truck was in the shop and that is why he was in an unmarked truck. He checked the roof and said the entire roof is weak. I asked him, "Why wasn't the plywood replaced as agreed?" He did not have an answer. I showed Kenny were the garage roof was leaking and starting to mold. The entire roof is splintered where each nail was driven through. Kenny climbed on my ladder, ripped one of the splintered pieces of wood down and said it didn't feel wet to him, and he didn't see the mold. When I pointed it out, he said, "that looks like concrete". I asked, "Why would anyone put concrete in the ceiling?" He did not have an answer. Then he said I got something I can put on that mold, and I have to come back when it is raining to see where the leak is coming from. He said I'll come back when it rains, if I'm available and if I'm not busy. (Wow! I thought you said it wasn't wet and you didn't see any mold.) I showed him the attic were the wood was wet around the openings where the box vents used to be. He said whoever removed your box vents should have covered the openings. I said your company removed them. He then said I don't know what work AAA did, I will have to go to the office and see what we did. I asked him how many squares my roof was. He said that he was not allowed to tell me, and he could only tell AAA. He also said he saw a few problems with the work, but he could not tell me what the problems were. Kenny said he could only tell AAA. I told him you charged me $21,664. to replace my roof and gutters and you can't tell me how many squares my roof is, he said "No". I had 2 other roofing companies come and give me estimates after AAA replaced the roof. The roof is 25 squares. The highest bid I received from the other companies was $13,000, for a complete tear off and replacement of the entire plywood and shingles. One of the companies took me onto the roof and showed me all the exposed nails, gaps in the shingles, loose shingles and weak spots all over the roof. I took pictures of everything. I filed a complaint with Building and Zoning, causing AAA to be fined for working without a permit. I am now working with Professional Regulations because AAA forged my signature on a Work Completed Certification and activated my account with their finance company (GreenSky), without my permission. They did this so they could get paid for the work before it was completed. There are so many illegal, unprofessional things AAA did. read more

AAA was going door to door in our neighborhood selling their services of roofing,windows, and siding. Jason Barnes got involved after the initial meeting with their field rep and followed up with me, letting him know the reason we would not be doing business was due to the insanely high bid we got from them. ( over $25,000 for 10 windows and a roof tear off. ) the roof estimate was over double any other reputable company I used to get alternative bids from. Even after expressly telling them to hold off until I had finished getting all of my bids, they ordered material anyway. I opted out of the roof as it was bid over $20,000 and the next highest price for the same materials and expressed warranty on work and materials, was under $9,000. After talking it over we decided to approach the windows as a single job that we would tackle first. This job ( the windows ) had a written bid from AAA for $5,000. I received a text today from Jason stating the window bid would be $6,700!! After a few texts insuring that we would cancel this order and my obvious confusion as to why the price hike, Jason sent many, but mostly this very condescending text stating you get what you pay for....well apparently that goes for the WORKERS at AAA siding as well, you do only get what you pay for. As you said Jason Barnes, good luck and you even offered numbers to people at your office I could talk to, I think I will be using those numbers... read more

I have never contacted this company when they started to call my house out of the blue. They would call at all hours of the day but never leave a message. When I finally was able to get a person when they called they asked for my mother who lives in the nursing home. the man claimed that my mother had filled an email or an online form asking for more info from them. I then informed the man that could not be true as she lived in the home and that her cell phone was different than the one he was using, which was mine. Let alone that she did not have internet access. I then asked him to take the phone number and her name off their list. I was told that they would do so and they were sorry for the mistake. I have contacted this company now 4 times over the last 12 months to stop knocking on my door and nothing seems to stop their canvassing team. My wife works from home, they come during work hours, they knock several times loudly, they ring the door bell several times, they get our pets all excited and they just leave. I have called and asked to speak with a manager every time and they say they will speak with the canvassing supervisor but every time they have done it again and the only response is "Do you have a no soliciting sign?". If I could do less than one star I would. Let me start by the fact that this company is poorly ran, about money, has no care for clientele. Then there is the office staff that are unprofessional, disrespect, and have a complete disregard of the clientele's schedules. We did not get what we were promised from the start. We were never given a contract. We were told twice we would be given a itemized bill after everything was complete. We still have not received said itemized bill. Their salesmen that came to our house, Webb. Did all the 'sales pitch' to get the sale. He was doing his stuff on his iPad, going outside to 'talk to his boss' as we were discussing things, then he would come it make it sound like we had to make a decision immediately. Well we did. He acted like he was new and inexperienced, somehow I doubt it now. When he was measuring the windows I asked about how they replaced them and he stated that the entire window is removed and there will be some vinyl filler because of the house being brick. I also asked about the door and he said the same thing. I was not completely sold on this because my dad is a former home builder and remodeler. I reviewed everything on his iPad, twice. to be sure it was correct. We also told him we wanted to do things in early May and he said this won't be a problem. We were also told it would take about two days to install a door and windows. We believed this was because there would be a large crew. Webb also told me a second guy, his 'boss' would come and measure the windows again. Well the second man came. He was an older gentleman. Unfortunately I still cannot remember his name. He measured the windows and the door. He stated a similar thing to Webb about removing the entire window, and door as well, but having the vinyl filler. This time he did not say 'may need.' Well I got a phone call a few weeks later from a not so pleasant, Marcy, about setting up a time for installation. She wanted to do it in a few days. I told her that was not going to work. She then said well how about next week. I again told her that is not going to work and we had planned for it to be in early May. She made a big sigh and said well we are contractors are already busy I don't know what we're going to do. She was mumbling something and then said I will see if we can make that work. I still was not sure if we actually had an appointment. We were shocked when two, yes two, people showed up. They started on the door. Well the door is wrong. They have to pull that out. We had ranch style windows. The bedrooms are side by side ranch windows in the bedrooms and were to become sliders.Then the work quickly on pulling just the glass of the windows out and the the center wood molding of the window out. The rest of the window is still in place. Well during the process of installation my husband tried to make contact with Marcy on two occasions and left a voicemail for her on one of those occasions. We never received a voicemail back from her. We're still waiting for her to return the call. My husband spoke to the a 'manager' about the door and that is the only reason the door they ordered wrong was replaced. The windows are awful, they do not open well, do not lock well. Even the contractors that put them in was having difficulty with them. They might have had less issues if they would have removed the old windows before putting in the replacement windows. All they removed was the glass from the windows. We were told on two occasions that the entire window was coming out. This lead to my understanding that it was coming out to the stud. Well much to my dismay when I watched one of the contractors walk to their truck with the so called 'window' they were taking out, it was only the glass portion. There is so much vinyl around them they look like cheap big box store windows we could have gotten on clearance and put in ourselves. It can take two hands and good standing position. The window in the kitchen I have to sit on the counter to open and still have to use two hands. Sometimes it takes two people to close them and lock them. Well my husband was irate due to the door being wrong, the look of the windows, the amount of vinyl of the windows, and the windows are tinted so much so that you much use lights to see anything. But now that the job is done they want nothing to do with us. We were told to contact them with any questions or concerns from day one. Well that was far from the truth. All the warranty information does is no good of they will not respond to us. It was thousands of dollars down the drain. We have attempted to contact the company to see what we can do since the windows do not work as they should and due to other issues. We still have not received any contact back. We have made multiple attempts trying to rectify the issues and get the windows working properly or something done to fix the issue. read more

Salesperson talked a good talk...... They talked about how "professional" their guys were, but I saw otherwise. They installed some gutters to a couple of places that we currently did not have gutters, and then installed gutter guards to the other existing gutters. we were told that they would clean the gutters prior to installing the guards, and either they didn't clean them at all or they did a poor job because it started pouring almost immediately after they left and the gutters still don't drain. You would think that you would check to make sure that the gutters worked prior to installing the guards, but what do I know..... The new gutters on the side of the house were installed nicely, other that the down spout being placed right smack on top of my hydrangea. I would think there would be a way that they could have diverted the spout to go around the landscaping... complete laziness in my opinion. They also left quite a mess around the yard with several sharp pieces of the gutter guard laying around in my landscaping and yard. I thought we paid for a professional job and I expected no less. So far, all I've seen is sloppy work done by a couple of lazy men. I have called regarding this issue and have yet to receive a call back with a resolution. At this time, I cannot and would not recommend AAA for any work. If they resolve this issue in a timely and professional manner, then ok this might have been a one time bad job and I can look past it. We'll see how this turns out and I'll edit my review as needed at that time. read more

Had them come out to quote several projects (Gutters, Windows, Roofing, Front/Rear Exterior Doors). First sales rep was horrible. Smelled like smoke and didn't know his products. It took him almost 2 hours to give me a gutter quote. It came up to $1,300 for 60' of gutters. The front and back doors came in at over $2,900 EACH, which was the cheapest door they offered. He never got to the roof or windows. When the customer service called me back to see how things went, I explained the experience and high quotes. They explained that the cost was inline due to their "Lifetime Warranty". They sent out another sales rep to re-quote. He did a little bit better on the gutters $1,060, which we agreed to have them install. Then he quoted basement windows (4 - 15"x30"), which came in at $680 ea.!!! He couldn't do any better on the price of the doors, due to the "Lifetime Warranty". Then he quoted our roof (20 square). To simply install new shingles over our existing was over $6,300!!! The price was high due to the "Lifetime Warranty". I received 3 other quotes (with a complete tear-off, ice shield, synthetic, etc. - $4,500 to $5,700). After installing the gutters we received our "Lifetime Warranty" packet. Only to find out that every service call after the first year will cost us $45. If we have to pay for the service calls cost us $, how is this included in the price of the "Lifetime Warranty"? DO YOUR RESEARCH and ASK MANY QUESTIONS. They will also not provide any written quotes! The sales reps claim they need to turn these in to their "boss". GET WRITTEN QUOTES!!! read more

I have never seen a more poorly ran company. The salesman we had was SO pushy that after finally agreeing to the "credit check" he left. Turns out it was more than a credit check. I got a credit card in the mail a few weeks later. I called AAA to find out more about this and why it happened and both times was told, "The person you need isn't in right now... she should be back in an hour or so." I was never gotten back to. Thank goodness for the 3 day right od rescission. Without it I would have been stuck in this sick scam. What a sad company. Sidenote: their services are WAY overpriced. I got quotes from two other places in the area that were thousands cheaper. Saying that you are the best because of your overpriced windows and pushy salesman does not make it true. The roof started 2 working days late because of the front office mismanagement of the workers' schedules, but looks good. However, the siding has been another story. We had a dumpster in our driveway for 2 1/2 weeks so needless to say we couldn't use most of our driveway. Equipment was left out on our deck overnite. My wife fired the crew leader for lying to her. He told her that they would start at 8am but his team members showed up at the house hours later after he told them he was going to have breakfast with his wife and to "put up some pieces so it would make the customer feel good". Also the guy who sold us this insisted that they would be putting new vinyl siding over our old vinyl. I have never heard of that, but we allowed him to carry on with his nonsense. He also ensured us that all the workers are vetted and reliable people. Yeah, right. Also, they ran out of siding and will have to come back in 2-3 weeks to finish. Poor Planning! read more
