I popped in to check out Jacksonville's newest art supply store! Bring on the paints, brushes,…read morecanvas and more! They offer framing too. Whether you work in oils, acrylics, watercolor, resins or any and all kinds of drawing- they have a fantastic assortment of it all! There is so much selections of paints! And the aisle of brushes- I may have picked up a pack! I want to hit the loose brushes hard. And I already have a ton of brushes! I went in with the idea of restraint. I have a lot of supplies already at home, but everything is SO tempting!!! Plus I got a grand opening discount~ hey heeeyyyyy!!! The ladies at the register even helped me look up more poorly described brush I have at home! I would love a replacement- but it's quite an unusual brush. They found it on the website! So I am off to explore that now! Happy arting and shopping!

Stephanie and Alan are very helpful. I have been shopping with them for ~15 years. I went into the original store. They have been instrumental in getting me started on my acrylic journey. I love shopping there. I don't paint as much as I used to, but they are my first stop when I get ready to do a project. They have a wonderful selection and they are very helpful. I basically tell them what I want to do and they help me run with it. I highly recommend this business.

I happened to be over in Ponte Vedra the other day and swung into PV Arts & Crafts as I heard that…read morethey had a section of needlepoint designs and supplies. I've slowly come back into doing cross-stitch and it's been tough to find a local store with supplies, designs, and hand-dyed floss and fabric. There were a few kits at Reddi-Arts prior to their closure, but I haven't found much that isn't, at least, an hour drive away now. While the cross-stitch/embroidery section was a bit smaller than I hoped, I was excited to find some great Satsuma Street designs, some hand-dyed thread, and some different fabrics that were available. I definitely could come by with a floss color key and gather all I need for any project. I didn't get a chance to fully explore the books or even get into where the majority of PV Arts & Crafts fabric is held, but I'm looking forward to my next trip to delve in even more. As I was on my lunch, I didn't have too much time to poke around further into the store, so I'll have to make a return trip when I don't have a time restriction. This is a spot that is much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside, and everyone would benefit for having some time to explore.

This is the perfect owner-operated shop (I only wish they were located in the Houston area). The…read moreshop owner greeted me in a friendly but not "following you while you shop" way. She was available for questions, but did not hover while I shopped. Perfect balance. Donna was not only friendly, but she has an excellent selection of every line I like (Graphic45, Tim Holtz, ATC and inchie rubber stamps, and materials that can be used in mixed media/ roomboxes). In particular, I was thrilled that Donna has open stock on a wide variety of Tim Holtz Distress inks (ink pads, refills!!!!!!, and markers). I was able to fill in nearly every missing item in my set. Very satisfying. Not only is there a great selection, but the store is laid out in a sensible way for the shopper. I did not find myself going back and forth between different shelves/ areas making comparisons and looking for matching items. No need, because they were all in exactly the right spot. As I was visiting this shop during a business trip, I asked Donna to ship to me (20 ink bottles will not fit into carry-on luggage!). When it arrived promptly at my house, I was completely surprised by how meticulously she had packaged my purchases. There was not a single chip on any of the glass bottles, nor any leakage. Impressive, considering how much glass and liquid ink was in that box! If I am back in the Jacksonville area again, I will definitely visit this shop again. I may, in fact, buy from her over the phone, too. She is very good! I only wish I lived closer, to take some classes.
