I started calling Jennifer's office a month in advance to get temporary insurance. 5 Days before my insurance was cancelled I finally got a hold of her and they couldn't (wouldn't?) do anything for me. Insurance agents need to be dependable. Jennifer Matto does not fit this description. My car insurance got transferred to her too and I intend to correct that.

    I had cancelled my insurance policy with Allstate a few weeks ago because I was being overcharged,…read moreon four separate occasions I asked why my policy went up by $200 and nothing had changed on my end, this went on for three months, no one at Allstate could give me an answer, I have emails to support this, I got ignored. I also called about this matter and to my surprise I never got a call back. When I called to cancel my policy I was told I had a final bill, ok fine, I got the bill and paid it immediately as I do with all my bills, yesterday I received this bill from collections, seems as if you sent this to collections pre-maturely, or maybe out of spite, as of today it has not even been 90 days since I canceled my policy, this should have never been sent to collections, because it's the weekend I'll call collections tomorrow, hopefully I can clear this up with them and yes you posted my check for the $53.14 over a week ago. If this affects my credit in any way I will be taking legal action, I've already talked to my lawyer and I will also expect to be compensated for overage in charges as well. I switched to State Farm, they agreed I was being overcharged, I uped my policys to all three vehicles and also added renters insurance and I'm paying $225 less than I was with Allstate. I'm not one to write bad reviews on line but I'm upset with the entire situation and I will not be kind about this.

If one of her assistants doesn't have the answer, she always does and is happy to follow up. I even just got a call that Santa is there today for photos, if we wanted to bring in any little ones. We love having coverage through State Farm and the care we have received from this office has been great. I've never felt so valued by an insurance company - it's pretty neat.

    I've had been a State Farm customer for over 30 years..home...auto...personal articles...general…read moreliability.......a 'perfect customer'....always paid premiums on time...never had a claim.....then...early this year...I bought a new car. The series of blunders and errors that followed clearly demonstrated it was 'time to CHANGE carriers'..and, first not just cuz of premium... but first and foremost because of the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! UNBELIEVABLE ....phone calls not returned....mis information given...... The day I picked up my new car, I pulled off the street to use my cell to call Christine to add the car....weeks later, I'd not heard any news about the endorsement, and when talking to SF on their 800 number to report current miles....was advised they knew NOTHING of my new vehicle....several weeks AFTER I advised Christine!!! When the final change document adding the new car arrived...the coverage was late dated...and because of her oversight, I was driving for about 3 weeks WITHOUT COVERAGE. And never once an apology or sorry... 'my mistake'....just a lot of bravado to hide her unprofessional behavior. There's a good deal more to all this than I'm sharing here....as I'm still considering filling a complaint in Sacramento with the State Insurance Commissioner ...... BOO BOO BOOOOOOOOOOO for State Farm......... 5/22 Update...UNBELIEVABLE... this weekend I received another invoice for my already CANCELED truck insurance (canceled MONTHS AGO)...called the 800 number......they could/would tell me NOTHING and said I'd have to discuss with agent (Christine above...god help me)...finally just now she called.....was rude and when told of the invoice I held in my hand...denied any invoice was sent!!! THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME..... IT'S TIME FOR ME TO CONTACT THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE

The final warning still stands, though: in a personal-injury case, talk with a lawyer before you sign anything. If you like dealing with people who will take advantage of you every step of the way, Progressive is the company for you. Their claims adjuster snookered me into accepting a settlement for a personal injury claim that turned out to be about 5% of the emergency room and ambulance charges. She knew how big they'd be and how long it would take for them to hit, and she knew I didn't, so she fleeced me like a sheep, smiling all the time. Now my health provider and I are on the hook for $23,000. I've never been one of their insureds, and never will be, after reading those people's reviews. I'm posting this to warn people: if you need to file a claim with them, get a lawyer first, and don't sign anything without checking with your lawyer.

Felt totally disrespected to have my privacy infringed in such a way . What they should ask is about your driving records not if you have somebody living with you and many more inappropriate questions that I would not dare to even ask a close friend I am absolutely enraged at the process and even wondering if this is legal. I will definitely follow up on that issue. I also asked who they resale my profile to ? The operator said they do not do that but I did not believe her At this point I had to hang up to stop this gestapo like interrogation of my private life . It is clear do not give your business to this Company , their questions are inappropriate and invasive and have nothing to do with insuring a car .I am insured with Geico , their interview was to the point. Just what they needed PROGRESSIVE IS A SCAM COMPANY ,operating at the limit of what the law allows about privacy . Time to find out what the law allows as far as your privacy
