So unprofessional. i Booked a 1 hour lesson and paid the price for it. when we got there they said…read morethat I had only booked a half hour lesson when I had paid for the full hour. I said so and they instantly said that they didn't have time for me to do a one hour lesson? They tried to problem solve by giving me another half hour lesson later that week to "make up" for it. The lesson that day was probably only 20 minutes long because she finished the lesson way too Early for some reason. When I came back later the same week they were confused because the lady I had previously didnt write down my booking. It was another struggle and once again the lesson was cut way too short. and The worst part was the lesson wasn't even good. the riding instructor had no idea what she was doing and seemed so unenthusiastic it wasn't funny. Wouldn't recommend.

Firstly, this place is a waste of money and time. Very unprofessional. It's way over priced, $110…read morep.p for a group lesson! (it should be half that cost!) and they make you commit to a term which is over $1000. When i first inquired, they told me it was $90 a lesson but then suddenly it changed to more when i signed up??? Before going into why i didn't like the riding school, i complained numerous times about certain things and was completely unhappy with their service, and asked if i could have my money back for the remainder of the lessons i paid for. They refused, which is utterly absurd and wrong!! I don't even know where to start. I showed up for my assessment lesson and it was fine. I have previous experience of cantering and jumping small jumps, they put me on a horse that didnt wanna go, but i did okay on it and they said they know what group to put me in. I was stoked, obviously. Showed up for my first lesson, and the instructor was not there and no indication on the board of what horse i was supposed to tack up. I was literally waiting for half an hour before she shows up LATE and then she rushes me to tack up because we're already eating into the lesson time. We go to the park where everyone does their jump training, and i soon realize that i am in a group of jumpers who are way more advanced than me. I can jump and wanna jump but they're doing way higher jumps than i've ever done. The instructor put 99% of her focus on the more advanced girls, and barely gave me any attention, just made me canter around in a circle a few times. Over the weeks of the lessons, i realized that i wasn't ever actually going to attempt jumps my size or advance from there (which was my goal and i communicated this to everyone at the riding school). Every week, we went to the park, i watched the others jump and I cantered around in a circle a couple of times as my activity for the day. I didn't learn or advance at all. In fact, i would do more on a trail ride than i would in these lessons. And i was paying $110 per lesson! What the hell! On a completely different note, the instructor i had was always yelling, no positive reinforcements, just treated me like a piece of sh*t. Oh and one of the lessons she decided to bring her own horse on the lesson and rode with him instead of teaching us, and started hitting him in the face because he was misbehaving.... need i say more? So i wrote in and complained. They said they could put me in another group with another instructor instead of give my money back. I decided i would try it, and while the other instructor was nicer, again, i didnt feel like i learnt anything. I noticed this particular horse had a limp in his trot, maybe from a sore foot, i'm not sure (i know what a good trot feels like, i've been riding for 3 years), and the instructor agreed that something was odd, maybe his shoe? and she called the head of office to take a look. The head of office blamed the limp on my abilities to trot the horse properly, and said the horse was fine and i should listen to the instructor to be able to trot properly. That's when i decided to quit, and lose all the money they decided not to refund me. In short, this place is unprofessional, and unkind to the horses or the people riding. I have never had this kind of treatment in any other school i've been to. You're best to save your money for another place!

The facilities, plus the proximity to the park, make it a great location. There's adequate parking, and a wonderful barn-focused atmosphere, with lots of activity every time I've been there.
