I've been with this AAA for a number of years. It's a very efficiently run office. I've renewed my registration to booked travel plans and membership renewal. The office is conveniently located in Middletown. Melanie was very helpful with my sons Disney vacation! She was pleasant on every occasion we went in to update or had a question about the upcoming trip. All in all very great experience. read more

I've been to this AAA office several times over the past 15 years and have never had a bad experience. I've been there for travel, car insurance, car registration and license renewal. In all those times not only has the service I've received been friendly, I've been out of there in 15 minutes. that was the longest time and that was for setting up car insurance for my husband. The office itself is huge, well lit and all the employees are friendly. They're never overly busy and always have the time for friendly service. As for the roadside assistance I've only used that once in the past few years, I was quoted an hour wait time but the truck showed up in less than 10 minutes and he had my car running again in less than 5 minutes. Even in the same town some how at anytime of day. It's kinda of crazy even if it's to jump a car like really. I don't know if you guys are understaffed but really should work on your eta times. Pros they get what you need done just not when you need it. So expect a long wait. read more

I called for battery service at 1:00 on a Monday. It was Presidents Day. They gave me a ETA all the way up until 5:15. Really? That's the best they could do? I called back at 4. Same ETA. At 6:15 I called again. Same thing. Duh! It's past that time by an hour. Put on hold for 20 minutes waiting for a dispatcher. Finally was told no ETA could be given. Why didn't they tell me that at 4? This area really needs more people on the road. I will think seriously about renewing AAA next year read more

Anyone who knows me knows that my life is a GIANT cosmic joke. Today the universe decided to have a little fun with me by having me lock my keys in my car. I took a trip down to my local Stop and Shop gas station because my car had been running on empty for about two days. Everything about my trip was going according to plan; I pulled up to the pump, swiped my card, filled my tank. And then DISASTER. I walk around to the driver's side door and pull. Nothing. I yank, I tug, I struggle, I surrender to the inevitable and place my head on the roof of my car in defeat. My keys sit on the passenger seat mocking me. After a (not-so-brief) moment of panic, I remember that I don't pay a yearly membership fee to AAA for nothing. Thank God my phone is an extension of my body because if it too had been locked in my car I would have been in quite the predicament. I call the Middletown AAA in search of my savior. I am greeted by a machine and after pressing one a couple of times I am connected to a human being. I wish I knew his name because he was one of the most helpful telephone help center employees that I have ever encountered. We went through a standard round of questions about the nature of the issue, my location, the model of my car, etc. I must commend him on his patience too, I had no idea what street I was on and he took the time to look up the shopping plaza I was in and did all the work for me. Originally, I was told that it was going to take forty-five minutes for someone to get out to me, but it only took ten. The service was so speedy, which I really appreciated because it was almost dinner time and I tend to get hangry. Once the AAA representative arrived it took him less than a minute to open my car for me. He was very pleasant and worked efficiently. He too was very understanding. Technically, he cannot help me without first seeing my AAA card, which was in my wallet in my car, but he was willing to bend the rules. He kindly opened the door for me and then let me show him my AAA card. What initially looked like it was going to be a disaster, turned into a minor hiccup in my day. And don't worry everyone, I got to eat dinner soon after and subdue my hanger read more

I got a passport photo taken the other day at AAA and I almost cried when I saw myself. I looked like Ruth Buzzi doing her old lady schtick on "Laugh In" back in the day.... which was MANY days ago. You young'uns won't get it, but anyway, I high-tailed it to my friends over at Natural Creations for some work on my hair and when I went back to AAA I told the young man that I had returned to have my passport photo taken AGAIN because the previous one was horrible, and you know what? He didn't even charge me! He gave me a new photo for free, one that I can live with for the next ten years. Thanks AAA! read more

I called and spoke to an extremely kind and knowledgeable woman named, Ms. Gianniani (sorry not sure of spelling) who offered excellent service in a highly professional and polite manner. I was unsure of how to proceed and she went out of her way to provide top notch customer service. I needed a new battery and the service man, Mike, was kind, professional and honest, was here in less than 20 minutes and explained everything from start to finish. I only wish every organization offered such amazing service and results for customers. read more
