I've been a member of AAA for 17 years and I will never trust them again. On February 20th I called for a battery jump start the two technicians who showed up argued about how to hook the battery cables up and sparked a fire in my vehicle which totaled it. Aaa member services told me they can't do anything to help me unless I drop my insurance claim against them for the damage that they did. I thought AAA had values of honesty, understanding and taking care of their customers. Boy did I find out different. read more

this place has the worst customer service ever. nobody to answer the phone or answer your questions. nobody ever returns your calls. nobody ever wants to give you a quote. they just want your money. always too busy to even add a vehicle to your policy. and if they do, its not the right one. even if you want to drop your insurance you couldnt do it because they dont respond. triple A should change to BS. read more

After I left State Farm , AAA insurance accepted my money for a year they wanted a live stream of my house. I said no they got pictures and everything was set. They then canceled me and I've yet to get the 1500.00 they owe me. Classic bait and switch!!! I had them for 1 month and they messed up my mortgage and my cars. AAA does not care about your safety, which is especially concerning and frustrating considering the services I used my membership for. This company is truly out for your money and nothing more. I am now out $215 and have absolutely nothing to show for it, despite what I needed was UNDER WARRANTY. For context: In summer of 2023, my car battery died when I was nearly 40 miles from home. An AAA technician came to me, replaced said battery that then had a 36 month warranty. Imagine my frustration when, 14 months later, the battery dies AGAIN, leaving me stranded at 11 p.m. in a St. Louis airport lot. I got a jump, took my car to my dealership who told me the battery needed to be changed. When contacting AAA, they told me because I did not renew my annual membership, they could not honor the warranty. However, the customer service agent then said if I wanted to renew the membership, they could honor the warranty. So I reluctantly dished out the membership fee and listened for further instruction. It was not until AFTER I gave them my credit card information that they told me there would be a $125 'early use service fee.' I adamantly told both agents I spoke to that was unacceptable because I was not told about the fee ahead of time (mind you, they already charged me $90 for the membership fee). Despite all of this, when the AAA technician came to look at the battery, he said he could not change the battery because it was 'only at the end of life' not completely dead. So after all my hassle and money spent, I still have a dying battery that has not been replaced. Guess I'll just have to wait until I'm stranded in yet another unsafe environment for a long period of time to see if scam artists at AAA will actually honor my warranty or if this truly was just a ploy to get me to pay them even more money for a defunct battery. read more

I called for battery service. Live in the city, so not remote. Waited over 2 hours and never showed. Asked for an agent to contact me, which took over 35 minutes. I have been a member over 10 years....but never again. Worse service ever. read more

I have had AAA For over 35 years my vehicle was stolen and after a month I stopped insurance,now it's been recovered and they said it would be over $700 for 6 months due all at once. It's been 30 days today! It's ridiculous! read more

NOTE: This actually isn't a review for this location in particular; it's a review of AAA in general. HUGEST LIFESAVERS EVER. A few months ago, I was driving home, and I parked in my driveway. When I tried to pull my key out of the ignition, it wouldn't budge. I tried EVERYTHING. It was stuck. Apparently, this is a common problem with Saturn Ions (oh noz -- now you know what car I drive!!). Well, shit. I drove around in a complete panic. It was around 6:30pm, so the only place that was open was Dobbs. Of course, they were no help -- they suggested I leave my car with them OVERNIGHT and a technician would get around to it in the morning. Um...my car is still running, fools. The key is stuck in the fucking ignition and my car is still RUNNING! Then I remembered that I was a AAA member. This is where the livesaving part comes in. I told them my location, and they sent out a technician. I was doubtful that they'd be able to help me, but it was my only option at this point. A locksmith came to where I was, and fixed the problem. The key was really stuck in there, and he had to literally cut it out, but he made a new key for me right there on the spot. My out of pocket costs? $50. Dobbs was quoting me THREE TIMES that price to fix the problem, and googling my issue pulled up others who had shelled out upwards of $200 to solve the issue. My AAA livesaver did the job for 50 bucks. There are so many benefits to being a AAA member, and the annual membership costs are minimal. Check around -- a lot of companies offer AAA discounts if you're a member. Cheap hotels, anyone? It's worth it. It's SO worth it. read more

Had an amazing AAA experience today. Helped by two employees (one for a battery jump, the other for a tow), and both could not have been nicer. The gentleman who helped me with the jump let me sit in his car for almost an hour because it was so hot and even offered to run to a gas station to buy me some water while I waited for the tow truck. The man who helped me tow my car was also very friendly and helped me stay calm during such a difficult day. I really appreciated the wonderful customer service I had today. read more

Had an issue with a dead battery today. The service was incredible. The tech (Phil) showed up exactly when he said he would. Charged the battery. Explained everything he was doing along with some great tips for maintenance items on car. I feel triple a is so with the money and Phil was Great! read more

I had to come here to get maps & a TripTik for my upcoming move to L.A.. I have a feeling that I won't get any cell signal or GPS signal during parts of the drive. In any case, the travel lady who helped me (I wish I got her name) was wonderful. She found a route that wouldn't be congested with traffic once I got to California. For AAA in general, they're amazing! Really saved me when my battery died and their customer service is second to none. I'm not actually an AAA member, my boyfriend is, but I will definitely become a member after this experience. The first tech that came out let me know that I needed to replace my battery and said he would see if he had the battery I needed. He didn't, so he called to see if there was someone nearby who did. They met me at my house and replaced the battery within 15 minutes. Very personable and helped explain everything. AAA is awesome! read more

Triple A, overall is wonderful! I have horrible luck with cars and I've been with triple A for a few years. Unfortunately, had to make an accident claim and the process was very quick and every person in each department I had to work with was nice, easy to reach, and answered all of my questions. Affordable auto insurance, cheaper the longer you're with them. The separate roadside assistance is worth every penny and it's pretty cheap anyhow. read more
