I purchased a 2013 RAM 1500 from Travers Automotive GMT in March 2025 with a 30-day warranty…read more Within 15 days, the brake system completely failed. I was forced to bring it to their affiliated garage, Premier Auto (required to keep the warranty valid). They told me the brakes had been inspected and repaired. Only weeks later, the brakes failed again. This time, they told me it was just a defective caliper. Then, just a couple of weeks after that, the brakes failed for a third time. At that point, both the shop manager Mike and the office manager Mike told me my brake pads had worn down so low they had actually "fallen off," causing the calipers to overextend and leak fluid. That explanation makes no sense for a truck purchased less than three months prior -- and one they had supposedly "fully inspected" twice already. Instead of honoring responsibility, they lied, shifted the story each time, and then made me pay $600 out of pocket for that third repair, even though the problem had never been properly fixed. Less than 48 hours later, the brakes failed yet again. During this same period, the tie rod end separated, which led to uneven tire wear and a dangerous highway blowout. I had to tow the truck to Dobbs, spend $585 on two new tires, and another $600 in electrical repairs for problems caused by a dealer-installed device and a defective key fob. Altogether, I've spent thousands in repairs for a truck that remains unsafe and undriveable. As an independent masonry contractor, I've also lost tens of thousands in business because I cannot transport materials or equipment to job sites. And to make matters worse, when I called Sales Manager Brian to ask for a solution, he literally hung up on me. When I asked him if Travers sells bad cars and doesn't care, he responded: "Yup." Travers Automotive GMT and their affiliated garage, Premier Auto, have shown a pattern of lies, deception, and negligence. They sold me an unsafe truck, failed to repair it, shifted blame, and treated me with disrespect. Their conduct has endangered me and my family and caused devastating financial harm. I strongly urge others: avoid this dealership at all costs.

I'm sorry it had came to this...BUT...I purchased TWO cars from John Clark with CASH within ONE…read moreWEEK. Gave me a great deal for $17k for both. Beautiful vehicles (13' Kia Optima was first, then 16' Ford Edge...both very clean with reasonable miles). VERY surprised that he held the Edge on a "handshake". Should have known at that moment somethi g was going on!! I understand what "no warranty" means, I understand they are used cars, I even understand people trade in their vehicles for various reasons, however, within ONE WEEK of having the Edge...had to replace the battery (not a big deal, it's normal maintenance), BUT when the vibration started from the rear, only from a stopped position, I called him, we couldn't figure out why or where it was coming from. I called John (he has a mechanic on location), explained what was going on, he says confusingly, "oh I don't know". I asked if I could PAY his mechanic to look at it to give me an idea of where to start for repairs. He says, "I have a customer in front of me, I will call you back". Waited and waited...ALL day for the phone call. Nothing! I tried to call him back, of course there was no answer. WTF? It has cost me $1550 to replace the Viscous Coupler, something my mechanic said someone could have seen/noticed if they did a proper "used cars inspection", which I'm sure he did but probably didnt want to sink the money into it. Could have eventually caused problems with my Teansmission if I kept driving it. Bulls**t!! He got his money...cash money, he no longer gave a f**k!! YES, I should have taken the car to get an inspection, lessoned learned on SO many levels. Thankfully my son's car is doing great, hope it stays that way!! I even sent someone his way for another vehicle, another Optima...no Sir, I told her not to even waste her time, not worth it!! AGAIN...I offered to PAY his mechanic for guidance!! BUYER BEWARE and, do your due diligence when buying a used cars, no matter where you purchase it from!! I didn't want to give them one star but Yelp made me do choose. ZERO, ZERO, ZERO stars!!

I hate that it has came to this. I met John Sr when he called my business wanting a new floor in…read morehis basement. I have since bought 3 trucks off him, bought my daughter's mother a car from him, referred numerous people and my last purchase was a 2019 Dodge Challenger. We have had problems with every vehicle, but the trucks are work trucks so wasn't a big deal. The 2013 truck that we bought last year, it won't pass emissions, will have to take it in shop. The Dodge Challenger this morning just paid $7300 from dealership due to the vehicle was wrecked and John Jr never mentioned such. He said he would help resolve the issue, but ignore calls and texts. But it maybe explains why he wouldn't let me drive it before he pushed the loan and said he was trying to make the car perfect. I would not recommend Tri Ctity Motors to any one again. He might says he's helping, but you will end up getting screwed by the vehicle. The Acadia that i bought my daughter's mother has the same issue.

I will start this post by saying I have never been here nor have I ever bought anything here…read more With that being said you're probably saying , then how is this guy going to rate the business. Well let me tell you. Last week I learned that my daughters jeep compass which I purchased from a local dealer in the Chicagoland area no longer comes equipped with a spare tire. Being a Dad of a daughter who's hundreds of miles away at school I did what any parent would do, I freaked out thinking of her out and about without a spare tire. In my quest to find out how to get her a spare tire I called Federico and spoke to an amazing individual in the parts department by the name of Tom. I'll make this long story short. Tom went above and beyond in his attempt to find me a spare tire. He made calls and spoke to people. Tom went the extra mile and then some and I can't thank him enough. For those of you driving smaller suv type vehicle please beware , the spare tire is now considered an extra which caught me totally off guard Oh you can add it for a $500 up charge Please let me commend Tom in parts for going far and beyond what he really had to do. Old school customer service is what I experienced Thanks Tom very much And to Tom's boss at Federico please pay him on the back for me and thank him. I wish I could but I'm 300 miles away GREATLY appreciated Bob C Chicago Illinois

Federico is my local Dodge/Chrysler Dealer. I dropped off my car in mid July. I was told it would…read more4-6 weeks because of back ordered parts. I had no problem with that. Once the 6 weeks was up I called to check in. I spoke to Justin and he stated parts were still on order. I asked him if he could call me every week just to let me know where it was, a 30 second phone call was it. He could not do that. Finally in Early September Courtni called me to inform me that after Justin called to tell me that my car was ready (which he did not) That they WRECKED it. There was a hole in the drivers side door. While pulling it in the porter ran into a rack and put a hole in my drivers side door. She apologized and stated that I would not have to repair it but they would be taking care of the damage. (How nice of them?) Two weeks later they called and said it was ready again. I showed up to pick it up and the door had a very sharp jagged edge on it. They said they would take care of that and I could pick it up in two days. I picked it up in two days. On my way home I noticed the inside lever of the drivers side door has three very sharp metal finish pealings on it. In fact it was so sharp it actually cut my hand. I called the Dealer Manager and he basically said that there was nothing they would do about it (Washing their Hands). Now I have an Unlimited milage warranty on this car with a $100 deductible. They waved that and kinda detailed my car for the inconvenience. They had my car for 3 months and a few days. Never again will I use Federico for anything.
