So it won't be an issue working with a more professional office that will provide a clearer understanding of insurance needs. I highly recommend working with another insurance provider; or at the very least, find another Farmers office that will actually provide value when you try working with them.

Come Monday at 10:25, not hearing from her I called her. I had to "refresh her memory" her statement. This means she wasn't going to call. We talked and she was not aware of a couple of things and said she would call me back immediately or certainly by the end of the day. Three days go by and I get with a top rated agency. I actually called them first and they had a phone problem and couldn't get through so I called Leon Curtis. Run don't walk from this insurance agent.

Contacted Terry Clark because her office is local, and she sounded friendly on the phone. Terry had me bring over all my insurance stuff (a whole thick binder) and asked a lot of questions. My business is somewhat unusual, and very specialized. In addition to owning my own company, I also work full time for an employer and do some part time on the side. I own investment property, a home, vehicles, offsite equipment, etc. It took Terry almost 2 months to really go through my stuff and get everything figured out since I don't fit into a "cookie cutter" dropdown menu of any type. Terry came back with a quote for everything about $500 less per year than my current carrier. That alone wasn't the reason to switch. Terry discovered that my current company, whom has insured my family for so many years, in fact, didn't have things correct and I was exposed to some serious liability in certain circumstances! Terry discovered holes in my coverage and inadequate business coverage while over-insured in other areas. After literally another month of back-and-forth for info and lengthy explanations, Terry got me covered, and covered correctly. It isn't the overall savings that makes this worthwhile, it's the personal attention to your situation that makes this a worthwhile switch. If you have a problem, just email or call Terry and she usually gets back to you within a few days with an answer. If you have to make changes to your policy, she can do that on the fly. Best of all, the insurance bill is now the same every month. We can actually budget!! Previous company had oddball billing cycles and with staggered policy renewals, the monthly bill was all over the place, never the same amount. Sometimes, a "balloon bill" would show up and we'd be eating boxed mac & cheese for a month or more until we could recover. If you still live with mom and only have 1 car to insure, Farmers may not be your best bet. But if you own property or other real assets and want to be covered, Terry will go the extra mile to make sure you aren't exposed to excess liability. You'll sleep a lot easier at night, honest.

She started to fill out the copy and stopped to say I had to fill out a page that was designated for an SEC rep to fill out. I tried to explain to her I don't fill that part out. Sh called over the manager and he agreed with her. However, She said another teller would come t my house to notarized the copies for a fee. AND I could use the same paperwork????? I let the bank and got a notary to do this and it cost me $90.00 to get my signatures notarized. As a former U.S. Branch Manager I would never have treated a customer the war I was treated. The staff, however, is great.
