I came in to fix my tire that was losing air when they showed me the interior of my two rear tires were in bad condition, most likely due to poor alignment. They gave me a good deal on four Pirelli tires for my 2018 Tesla X and their service was on point. My X drives much quiter. It's been a few months now and I am planning coming back to have them replace my brakes and rotors and my front control arms and ball joints due to the well know issue with the Teslas. I had an ongoing vibration issue in my 2024 Camry at highway speeds and went to A1 Wheels for a second opinion after the dealership couldn't get it right. They ran a road force test on all four wheels and found the front tires were way out of specs (over 40lbs). They did a match mount and rebalance and got everything under 11lbs. Also took the time to check alignment and confirmed no bet or damaged wheels. The car drives super smooth now, it's a huge difference. While driving on the freeway in Oakland (of course) there are pot holes the size of the Grand Canyon and as a result of running into one today I ended up with a bent rim and a flat tire. Rather than replace the wheel itself, A1 was able to heat and hammer my rim back to normal saving me a lot of money. Finished the job in less than 15 minutes and I was back on the road. I needed to replace the tires on a car I am in the process of selling with used ones. I originally went to Fat Cat Tires at the pulga, but what they quoted me was a lot higher than what I was willing to put it. I got to A1 wheels around 5pm, asked if they had my tire size in stock and luckily they did. I had my original tires loaded in my car and the used ones installed in what felt like 30 mins. Excellent service here today. Car developed a shudder at high speeds after hitting a pothole hard. They did a complete inspection, ruled out a bent rim or broken axle and showed how the front alignment was bad and the rear could use an adjust.
