This is a great place. Through my own misadventure I lost the key to my rim locks. I tried hard to buy a key to fit the locks, but failed. No one, including the auto parts store, had the right key. Since I bought my rims here a few years ago, I brought the car to Wheel Service and put myself in their hands. They also did not have the right key, but had a work-around, and were able to remove the old locking bolts. They installed a new set of locks and gave me the key. The whole thing was inexpensive and fast. I was done in 15 minutes. I spent two weeks buying keys from Amazon and others. I should have gone here first. Thank you guys. read more

Purchased a nice set of Fullway 24" tires, and had them balanced and installed. Family operated, and reliable. They also have had my low pro 24" tires in stock when I've needed which is twice, and pretty astonishing. If you don't know about low pro 24s, they are expensive and sensitive as i had to go back and purchase another one not too long ago. Anyways, they aren't always in stock everywhere, and this luck finding decent used ones. I like the service, and the family seems cool. I came to wheel service for new tires and rims. Service was okay for the most part. On my way home the car was shaking pretty bad. I called no answer the next morning no answer. Went down to the shop at 1 pm on Saturday and the guy that works there told me there's nothing he can do for me. I told him I live over an hour w away and it's dangerous to be driving. He said can't help you and closed the gate. That was the rudest customer service I've ever dealt with. The problem with my car was cause from the installation. They're so unresposible! They always have short staffed! They close way earlier then the times they should be open and if you call them they will ask for your number to call you back but they never do! I just stop going to them even tho they're three blocks away from my house. read more

This place sells cheap ass rims for expensive ass prices and offer $0 warranty. Within a month I hit 1 pothole and my whole rim dented and cracked. I was referred to these guys by my tire specialist so I drove out there without an appointment on a Friday morning. They got me right in, inspected the wheel, and gave me an estimate to fix it of $100 while I waited. I thought it was taken out, but it was only about 20 minutes. Quite impressive, and a great value. I had a couple of bent wheels. Upon filling out an inquiry through Yelp, Wheel Service was one of the shops that responded quickly. The message was transparent and asked to see the wheels prior to quoting a price. The sales person noted that I can bring it in and they will take a look. Upon arrival, they quickly took a look at the wheels and confirmed the bent wheels. I spoke to Manny. He was transparent that the fix will definitely improve the wheels, but considering the severity of the bend, he couldn't guarantee a perfect fix. He quoted what I thought was a reasonable price for 2 wheels. I came back after a couple of hours as discussed. Upon driving of the car, the car felt really better and couldn't feel any vibrations. I consider it a good fix. Although the actual work was great, I am taking one star off for not checking/matching the tire pressure. I know, I am meticulous/anal. Great experience here. I had a flat and took my Range Rover back to Big O where I had just recently bought new tires. They found I had a cracked rim. They don't fix rims at the Berkeley store apparently. I had a cracked rim in Oakland last year and they sent it out, probably to Wheel Service. Too bad the Oakland store closed. But I went to Wheel Service on International which isn't exactly my favorite neighborhood. I was a little nervous. Found them and went in and they were great. Fixed my rim and it was only 120$. We went here to get a tire patch then waited at the entrance where another car was. The employee stopped us so he can let the other car come out. Next thing you know, he close the gate on us. Then, we park the car to go inside and let them know that we needed a tire patch. The employee was first looking on his phone (probably at Instagram) then goes in the back and comes back in saying it was going to be a 30 minute wait because the other guy went on lunch. Umm what?? Mercedes Benz dealership and other auto shop asked for too much. Some shops don't even do it at their shops, they charge 3 times as much to send he wheels somewhere else.
