After some research and wanting to abide by local regulation, we booked Ashes to Sea to disperse my…read morefather in law's ashes on the ocean as he wanted. We arrived at the ramp about 10 minutes before departure time. There's plenty of paid parking at the marina. We were a party of 4 adults + a 10-yr old and fit in the boat. The 2 older seating on a seat at the front, the 2 younger adults + the 10 yr old on a big bean bag. The process is very quick: about 25 min to get to the regulatory 3 nautical miles off shore, we spent about 10 minutes saying our last words, dispersed the ashes and the trip back was about 25 min. So it was just over 1 hr. On the way back the sun was starting to come down and we saw a group of dolphins near the marina. The captain nicely went a bit back and stopped so we could see them play on the water. The captain and his mate were helpful with everything. I would recommend their services.
