I read other peoples reviews of A-Z and decided to ask them to fix my really old garage door that had fallen off its track and had multiple other problems. Not only did Willie down sell me, saying I didn't need to replace both tracks but he fixed the springs, the motor, made it wi-fi compatible, replaced the safety cut out laser/light thingy very quickly, for a reasonable price. (PS...compare this to an Air Conditioning company who came last week who had to borrow my ladders, tape measure, asked me for batteries for their tools and then left with the heat not working and the air no colder than before they came). read more

I hit the button to open the garage door and it only went up an inch or two. I tried for a while to kept the door up to no avail. Of course I was headed out the door to take my toddler to a class. We were stuck. I looked on Yelp and found A-Z was close by and had good reviews. I called and left a voicemail at 10am. Willie called back 15 min later. Willie is very professional and friendly. He had me describe the problem and send him a picture. He said it sounded like the springs had broken. He told me exactly how much it'd cost for parts and labor ($200). He came over several hours later, same day service! It took him about 30 minutes, including time for us to chat. If you have a garage door problem or need a new door, I highly recommend calling Willie at A-Z. He lives right in Coral Springs and serves Broward. I recently had a new impact garage door installed by A-Z Garage Doors, and I cannot rate them highly enough (seriously, why can't I choose 6 stars!?). Willie, the business owner, responded to my quote request the same day, was the lowest quote by over $100, and didn't charge me extra to pull a permit. The reason I mention the permitting is because all three of the other companies I contacted wanted either a $300 "permit processing" fee, or tried to convince me that permits weren't necessary, despite my desire to have one pulled. Within a week of agreeing to the quote, Willie had pulled the permit for my door, and the very next day it was installed. His employees did a fantastic job of installing the door and Willie was continuously in contact with me to ensure the process went smooth. I had called another company before calling A-Z Garage doors and I had to wait 3 days to have the door fixed.I really didn't want to wait that long so I called Willy at 9am in the morning and at 4pm my door was already fixed. He gave me a waiting period of 1 hour and he showed up right on time. He took the time to explain what was wrong with the door and what part he had to replace in order to fix it. He also showed me how to test the garage door to know if it's working properly. We had a brand new garage door installed in February by another company ( not A-Z) after calling repeated times and not getting anyone to answer , we found that the company had closed their doors . I afound A-Z on Google , called , answered right away , scheduled and he was at my home shortly after . I found A-Z on Google, not many reviews on Yelp for this type of service. We are very pleased with the service. I called at 1030AM and Willie said he could be in Coral Springs about 2 hours later. He was here at noon and was able to repair my garage door in no time. My husbands truck was wedged in the garage and WIllie was able to work around it, I mean climb over it to complete the repair. We purchased a garage door, an opener, and a keypad from Willie about 10 months ago. He was very responsive, gave us a great price, and a great product. He took care of the permit paperwork and scheduled the inspection for us. The door and motor are super quiet. We also got the opener with the iPhone app that lets you open and close the door from your phone. It also tells you when the door is opened and closed. I hired Willie to replace my garage door and motor last fall. He came over on short notice, and provided a complete estimate. He then worked with the city to obtain all required permits. The installation was very professional. He took the time to explain the new system. The city inspection was a slam dunk. A few months later, through our own fault, the laser safety was knocked out of alignment. Of course, we had trouble with the door because the safety was doing exactly what it is supposed to do . We were dreading getting our garage door fixed since we're planning a wedding & didn't need the added expense, but once it stopped working fully we couldn't prolong it any longer. We decided to use their services & couldn't be more happy with our choice. Can't say enough positive things about Willie and the repair he did on our 30+ year old single garage door (manually operated, no electric opener). It went off track for the 2nd time in a month (first repair for a "reset" was with another company - Not A-Z / Willie, and the experience was awful - that company did not fix the underlying problem and rushed to do a half-assed job in 15 minutes, get paid, and get out - when called back two weeks later they said there was no warranty for the work done a few weeks earlier and would not even consider waiving the service call fee to look at it). In contrast to that crappy service, Willie came out promptly and actually evaluated the weight load the door was carrying and determined the spring was an inappropriate size and real the cause of the problem. He made the appropriate repairs and services all of the parts of the door for a very fair price (everybody is having some type of issue in our COVID world and my husband is recovering from major surgery). The door now glides effortlessly and quietly at the touch of a few fingers.
