As she walked up the stairs the air was pleasantly scented and filled with music from Frozen. As she entered the parlour itself she was greeted by three staff who treated her throughout the experience like she was the only girl who ever had a birthday. Star of the show. Yet - they made sure every child got all the treats and services Jaime got in due course. She and her pals were treated to an extensive wardrobe of princess outfits to try on. They has their nails done, their hair done, their make up... They were especially good in making sure all the shy and quiet kids were never left out and were occupied. Then there was the movie frozen on DVD, and all kinds of music from the movie to which they played games. The food was great, there was a popcorn stand, a sweet stand.. Like you'd see at a fair. The place itself was decked out like a princess beauty parlour. Lots of pink from the curtains to the rugs and soft lighting. They only take one party at a time and so there's no conveyor belt treatment. For the time you are there your little one is royalty. I can't pay enough respect to the staff. Simply amazing and were very accommodating when twice the crowd we expected showed up. We walked away with a very happy little girl with memories that will last forever. Her friends are still talking about it and my little boy wants his party there when he turns 3 (they do pirate parties too!) Great job girls. Wonderful place. Simply wonderful.

Firstly, they take care of everything : food, cake, party bags, all things you need to provide at most all other places. Truthfully, the only thing I had to do was send invitations. The girls are super friendly and attentive to all the little princesses every need. When you first walk in its like a pink explosion...pink everywhere , it even smelled of strawberries! They do the girls hair/nails/makeup & they can dress up. They have a pink bouncy castle & house. They had a bag of dolls for them to play with while a Barbie movie played in the background. They tables were all decorated in pink, with loads of beads for jewellery making & at another table were princess pages for colouring. They made each girl feel special especially if your a birthday girl. At the end the girls put on a fashion show. They fed the girls the typical party food all kids eat, then a tea party with little fairy cakes & sweets. They provide the birthday cake for the grand finale. The two hours fly by in a blink of an eye. The girls had the best time & I would completely recommend this place for anyone with a little girl for a party!!!

I had booked a party room for my sons first birthday, and to say the least it didn't even feel like…read morea party as we were rushed from putting up the decorations and having the birthday cake, my baby was asleep and they had brought in the cake also I had called in earlier to see if I'd be able to get the room a lil earlier and if I could get my balloons pumped they confirmed yh we have someone special who sets up the room, when it was time to blow the balloons the girl in the room advised that they don't have a balloon pump so she starting blowing them up one by one but still wasnt all the balloons only around 7 from a pack of 50, the minion room was sooo small also, when I was booking over a month before the date they said that the room is big and can fit a lot of high chairs total lie, I also feel like they had definitely overbooked the day because of how fast they were trying to get us out of the room, I had asked for a Mickey mascot which had only come in for a few minutes, they had seen my son was asleep but they still decided to turn the lights off and bring in the cake while my son was still asleep !!!!!! instead of giving me more time cause I was already trying to wake him they just went ahead and did what they wanted cause they needed the room for another party, terrible customer service i would never go here again and would never recommend it, couldn't even enjoy my sons first birthday in peace without having dif staff members coming to me all the time saying they need the room and all this utter rubbish, very understaffed aswell, don't know any staff members name as they never introduced themselves either, just started talking how is this even a party venue I don't understand just very stressful and not satisfying in any way shape or form.

I was as specific as possible about the amber colored uplighting I wanted and sent photos of exactly what I wanted. Alison assured me they could do amber but on the day of my wedding they were hot pink. This did not work at all with the Gold Salon at Carton House. My mom tried to call them several times to see if they could come fix it and her phone calls were never returned so we ended up just having them removed by Carton House staff. I emailed them after the fact and was given a partial refund but not a full refund. They have yet to give me the remainder of my money back. Not only that but my photographer took the majority of the photos of the venue before the uplighting could be removed so a lot of my photos are ruined. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

There was an image in the middle of each photo which we asked to change multiple times on the night, not only because its a terrible image but also because it was a same sex wedding. We complained afterwards but very little was done, the company offered to send out new copies of the images, that is all. By far the worst part of our wedding.
