Had a great experience with the guys from Basin Electric! 10/10 would recommend them to…read morefriends/family. They did a small residential job for me, but despite the size and relatively low cost, they did as high quality work as they would for a much bigger job. You're definitely a priority when you contract with Basin! Jay gave me an estimate and was able to help me get what I needed done for less, recommended ways to improve what I needed done and even showed me a bonus or two! Once I committed with them, I was able to get on their calendar within a week. The electricians come out, verified with me what I wanted done and did an incredible job. They MAY have been there for 5-10 minutes. I received a bill from them for a "service charge" in excess of $100. As a business owner myself, I couldn't believe they would even send a bill, none the less actually expected it to get paid. So I explained this to Lisa in A/R, who then notified me it was the service manager who told her it was a service fee and they expected me to pay it. I have no problem paying anyone for services rendered, as I certainly wish to be paid myself, but to actually DO NOTHING and expect to receive payment, well to say the least, I can't wait until the day comes that I can send my customers bills for doing absolutely nothing and people actually pay them. In the meantime, I'll continue to provide a good service and hope for repeat business in return for payment. I would suggest Basin Electric consider doing the same. Scamming people out of money is not acceptable business as far as I am concerned.
