Randy did an excellent job as MC and DJ for my friends' wedding reception. He came with a full…read moresound system set up, dance party lighting, wireless mic, and was able to hunt down all the odd, random songs that we needed for the event. To start, Randy played the elegant entrance music during the ceremony. He also put a lapel mic on both the groom and the officiant. This was wonderful detail that most facilities overlook. All of our guests were able to hear the couple's vows, even the folks in the very back. Our dinner was buffet style, and each table came outfitted with a name card of a television show. Guests listened for their theme song and could go up for food when the song was played. Not only was this a fun idea, but Randy was able to find my friends' eccentric shows, like Golden Girls, Reading Rainbow, and the theme song to Oprah. In all, about 30 television songs were queued. He even let the catchy themes play out, like Friends and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Months prior to the wedding, when the invitations were sent out, guests were encouraged to log on to the Everlasting Sounds website to request songs. After the list was compiled, the bride and groom reviewed the music and discarded the songs they didn't like. Most of what was on the request list made it to the celebration. It was exciting to hear your song played, plus it made for a fun variety of music. We danced to everything: The Killers, Cupid Shuffle, Elvis Presley, Apple Bottom Jeans, N'SYNC, the Pocahontas theme, and my favorite, Time Warp from Rocky Horror. During the festivities, like cake cutting and garter toss, Randy went along with the groom's shenanigans and got everyone excited and laughing through his announcing. If you're looking for a DJ north of Cincinnati, Everlasting Sounds can't be beat!

They made sure we had drinks, the music was exactly what we wanted, they kept the party going coordinating every moment, and they were so professional. Worth every penny, which is totally reasonable. Don't hesitate! Book PartyPleasers now! We didn't realize how integral a DJ would be for the…read moresuccess of our day, and in retrospect we are so glad we went with PartyPleasers! They were by far the most professional and personable in the initial meetings, and although they were a little pricier than we were hoping to spend it ended up being worth every penny. Once signing the contract we were immediately given access to an app called Vibo which was our one stop planning shop! In the app we answered somewhere around 100 questions about our wedding day. I know it sounds excessive, but it really helped us in our planning to think about things that wouldn't have come up naturally and also ensured we could give a complete and total picture of the day to our DJ. We were also able to input song choices for all the special moments in the app, as well as share a link to enable guests to add their requests which was fun! We were assigned Alex Eveslage as our DJ and he was AMAZING! We met about a week prior to the wedding and discussed the details from A to Z including timeline and outline for the night. Alex ensured that the whole evening flowed smoothly and perfectly matched the vibe of our crowd. Our dance floor was packed the entire time open dancing was going on and our guests couldn't stop raving about how much fun our wedding was! Alex continued to check in with us throughout the night to ensure everything was going well, and he even indulged a ridiculous special request from me. Can't recommend PartyPleasers enough - make sure to ask for Alex when you book!

I initially worked with Jeff Heidelberg, and unfortunately, communication was very frustrating. Multiple calls and emails went unanswered, and with the wedding getting closer--about a month out--it definitely added unnecessary stress. Thankfully, everything turned around at the right time. During a meeting at Manor House, I found out Party Pleasers was onsite and had the opportunity to connect with Tasha. She was wonderful from the moment we spoke--responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in understanding our vision. She followed through on everything she said she would do and took the time to meet with me to ensure we were aligned. The results reflected that care. The atrium looked exactly like the vision we had provided--it was beautifully executed. The head table was also done very nicely and fit the overall look perfectly. While I don't believe the uplighting was fully in place as expected, what was done still looked good and added to the ambiance. The photo settee wasn't quite what we originally envisioned, but it still worked well in the space. The large repurposed floral pieces from Robin Wood Flowers really helped bring that area together and created a beautiful effect. Overall, while the beginning was stressful, Tasha truly turned the experience around and made sure the final outcome was something we could be happy with.

Our first…read moremeeting went well and we booked with Brad, the owner, because he gave an impression of professionalism and the tools he uses seemed like they would avoid miscommunications in song selection, timeline and general flow of the party. We are extremely dissatisfied with the service we received the day of our wedding. The problems began before our wedding which we planned with all vendors on starting at 2:15pm. As we were getting ready our day-of coordinator told us Brad said "I'm not going to start then because I have 2:30 on the schedule and I wasn't paid for that time." Our coordinator came to us and explained this so we tried to make the best of it by getting more photos before. After the fact, we confirmed that our DJ contract said 2pm-8pm. Brad denies ever saying those words to our coordinator. We know that the day after our final meeting with the venue, Brad had a meeting with them to go over their upcoming weddings, ours included. We met with Brad after that. If there was a time discrepancy why was nothing said to us to avoid the whole issue? Next, my husband and I had a custom song made for our aisle music, a beautiful Studio Ghibli medley that is long enough for the entire processional with a specific section of the song meant for the bride to walk at 3 minutes 45 seconds. We had a link to this song in 3 separate sections on the Vibo App, including the timestamp, months prior to our final meeting. On our big day I was rushed down the aisle to the wrong section of the song. I noticed it right away and honestly it took away the magical feeling I was looking forward to for so long. No bride should ever have to feel this way on their wedding day, they should get to enter their wedding the way they dreamed. The utter disappointment we feel, even a week later, still brings us to tears. When we confronted Brad about it, he said he should have jumped to that section of the song and that he didn't know the venue was going to open the doors to my reveal. The venue and our wedding coordinator both said that Brad gave them the cue to send me down the aisle and that neither had heard from him that there was a specific cue for me. Brad denies that he gave the cue and shifted blame to our coordinator and venue. He also expressed that typically people have separate songs for parents, bridesmaids and groomsmen, and for the bride. So it also felt like he was blaming us for not following the norm, despite never expressing that our music would be a problem. We wouldn't have booked with him if we knew he couldn't handle the request. Finally he said he did no wrong because he played the correct song. Lastly we were in utter shock when our best woman and man and nearby guests told us what the DJ had said when telling them how to use the microphone for the dinner toasts. They told us Brad said to hold the microphone like you're giving a "blow job." This is extremely unprofessional and we do not take it lightly how uncomfortable it made our guests feel. When confronting Brad, he denied he said that saying he holds himself to the utmost professionalism. He can claim they are twisting or mishearing his words but we had several individuals tell us this unprompted. Despite some positives, like accommodating changes to other song requests and announcements made in the final week, these actions didn't make up for the major issues. We're unsure how all our last minute requests were met but things that were communicated months prior were missed. Brad deflected accountability and pointed out that we seemed to be enjoying ourselves but we didn't want to argue with him that day as we were trying to be good hosts to our guests and not further sour our own day. In all, we are extremely disappointed with Brad's services. We are writing this review so that no other couples have to experience what we did. Again no bride should ever have to hear about such unprofessionalism from their DJ or feel like they can't have the aisle music they dreamt of.
