One of the highlights of Urthy Scents is all the products are free from allergens and ingredients that are harmful to our bodies and that disrupts our hormones and cause inflammation within our body. The attentive staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You can get lost in all of the amazing smells of this beautiful store. The packaging, merchandizing and layout of the products are amazing. It evokes a luxurious feel within the walls of Urthy Scents. Normally, I'm sensitive to fragrances and smelling multiple bottles can oftentimes trigger a migraine when I visit competing stores, but here my nose stays neutral, and I blissfully smell away. The products, such as the reed diffusers, make lovely hostess gifts and you can feel confident you're buying a quality product. My diffuser is over five months old and nearly empty, but I'm impressed with its longevity and last week ran down to the store and bought the "Gypsy Water" replacement again so I wouldn't run out. Visitors to my home have commented that my house smells incredible. I absolutely adore this fragrance and it reminds me of Baccarat Rouge fragrance. Urthy Scent's limited-edition season line is also nice for the holidays, and I've already purchased some and given them out to get people in the spirit of the holiday season. Check this place out as it's a true gem within Lakewood Ranch and they also have a fantastic website and catalog. You won't be disappointed.

From the outside, the boutique is pretty much nondescript, the purple siding does catch your eye, but you might mistake it for one of the bigger houses in town if you're not looking carefully. Now, once you enter you are transported to a winter wonderland of Christmas - so much so - you might forget it might be the middle of the year. In our case, we showed up just over a week shy of Thanksgiving 2023, so the Christmas spirit was starting to build up in both my wife and I. It's what made showing up at this place that much more enjoyable. They had what you would expect at a year-round Christmas shop - from the fancy to the kitschy - it was all there and I would say reasonably priced. The sales staff was super friendly and out-of-their-way helpful, it was fun just jawing with them and such. Hopefully the locals are showing this place some love - especially during the holiday season - it would be well-deserved.

If you like unique, but not weird or overpowering scents at an excellent price-point... this is your place. I ordered a bottle of Primaverde and Frescaessenza for my mama and mother-in-law, and they arrived in 3-4 days... and were both a total hit! I called today to ask about a couple perfumes that I wanted for myself, and the sweetest guy (named Enrico) answered the phone. He was so helpful in gauging my preferences, and offered to send samples of a few scents he thought I would like with my purchase. I felt as if I was in Italy again... all those times I would wander and get lost and found by a local who would offer me a drive to the train. Everything about this place puts a smile on my face... thank you!
