Yeah, I have to say I prefer to support local small businesses. So, when I finally made it to…read morethe Sarasota farmers market over the summer, I made it a point to find Sarasota candle and make a purchase. I bought some pillar candles as well as the candles in the shell as well as candles in a Jar. All the candles burned beautifully and smelt amazing. They are slightly pricey for what you get but they do take credit cards/debit cards. So, you wonder why I'm not giving a 5 star review? First of all, the gentleman working the booth was more attentive to the young girls that walked in minutes after I did then my old 40 year old self and my mother. Secondly, we all understand freedom of speech and having your own political beliefs is your right. But, when you make it a part of your advertising constantly, even for those who slightly agree with what you are using to pull people in, it is a turn off.

The…read morecompany offers a wide array of products and a plethora of scent profiles to meet the most discerning customers. One of the highlights of Urthy Scents is all the products are free from allergens and ingredients that are harmful to our bodies and that disrupts our hormones and cause inflammation within our body. The attentive staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You can get lost in all of the amazing smells of this beautiful store. The packaging, merchandizing and layout of the products are amazing. It evokes a luxurious feel within the walls of Urthy Scents. Normally, I'm sensitive to fragrances and smelling multiple bottles can oftentimes trigger a migraine when I visit competing stores, but here my nose stays neutral, and I blissfully smell away. The products, such as the reed diffusers, make lovely hostess gifts and you can feel confident you're buying a quality product. My diffuser is over five months old and nearly empty, but I'm impressed with its longevity and last week ran down to the store and bought the "Gypsy Water" replacement again so I wouldn't run out. Visitors to my home have commented that my house smells incredible. I absolutely adore this fragrance and it reminds me of Baccarat Rouge fragrance. Urthy Scent's limited-edition season line is also nice for the holidays, and I've already purchased some and given them out to get people in the spirit of the holiday season. Check this place out as it's a true gem within Lakewood Ranch and they also have a fantastic website and catalog. You won't be disappointed.

When I approached the counter, the cashier appeared annoyed and asked for my phone number without explanation. When she pulled up the account, she rudely asked why there were two names listed. I explained that both names belong to my household (mine and my husband's), at which point she became visibly flustered and dismissive. She then called over another cashier to take over the transaction. While the second cashier attempted to help, the process took an unreasonably long time. I ultimately had to hand over the physical receipt to finally resolve the issue and leave. I am very disappointed by the poor customer service and lack of professionalism I experienced today. I hope this feedback helps improve the training of your front-end staff.
