We got our estimate fast and were scheduled for our new fence a few months later. This delay was completely understandable considering how much damage there was in our area. I had an extremely negative experience with Hage Fence & Repair and want to share it to help others…read moremake an informed decision. An individual identifying himself as "Jason," who stated he was associated with this company, entered a private property that was clearly marked "No Trespassing." When questioned, he claimed to be a surveyor but refused to provide any identification. In Florida, surveyors are required to carry and show proper credentials when asked. During his time on the property, a PVC pipe was damaged. When this was brought to his attention, he refused to take responsibility or make any effort to repair it and left the property. His conduct was unprofessional, disrespectful, and concerning--especially toward a homeowner who was home alone with a young infant. This experience raised serious concerns about the company's professionalism, accountability, and respect for property rights. I would strongly advise others to verify credentials and consider alternative companies before hiring Hage Fence & Repair. UPDATE: Thank you for your reply. To clarify: the individual named Jason represented himself as being associated with your company at the time of the incident. The issue described in this review pertains to his conduct based on that representation. The gates both have to be lifted in order to open or close. The man that installed the first run of fence was fired after the day he worked on my property due to him spending most of his time in his truck smoking and not finishing the job. The owner is rude when you speak to him and doesn't care about customers at all. So I HIGHLY recommend you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! WCF has a professional, knowledgeable office staff and ditto for the installer crew. 2. The Installation and appearance of my new fence is precise and badass. The construction of their wood panels and gates is far superior to that of the 'big box' guys. Stringer sizes are consistent, and pickets are thicker. 3. Just as important, they worked with me through a misunderstanding I had (My bad) , which says it all about a service company. 4. Finally, the Price was very competitive. They hit a snag with the permit which was ironed out and approved by the City on 8/5/24. 100 days later, no word on when the fence will be installed. I've called and left messages for Cean who no longer answers. I called the office and went straight to voice mail. Left another message and no return call which is typical. I have to call and text multiple times to get a response from anyone and then the response is we'll get in touch with the manufacturer and will let you know what they say tomorrow......of course, they have never called back. I'm still waiting.....have paid over $3,000 in June and still sitting with no fence and no ETA nearly 5 months after paying the deposit.......completely pathetic. I would not re-hire this company nor recommend them.
