They showed up when they said they would and did exactly everything by the book which also means filing permits and arranging inspections which is always PITA. From the 3 bids I got they were not the most expensive nor the cheapest but what they were was responsive and followed through with their work which is rare to find a residential contractor like this in Florida. We got our estimate fast and were scheduled for our new fence a few months later. This delay was completely understandable considering how much damage there was in our area. On our scheduled date, two workers showed up on time and spent the better part of a day replacing our old wooden fence with a new, vinyl one. BUYER BEWARE - Veterans Fence! One of the Worst Contractor Experiences We Have Ever Had!…read more I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated we are with this company. What started as a straightforward railing installation has turned into an absolute nightmare. We paid $13,000 through Zelle, received the wrong product, experienced what we believe was improper installation, and have been left with an unfinished project and no acceptable resolution. Here's what happened: From day one, there were red flags. The company told us there was no need to come out and measure in person. They initially quoted us a price significantly lower than other contractors. However, when I specifically asked whether we would be receiving the exact same railing we had requested, the price suddenly increased to approximately $16,000. We were assured we would receive the railing we wanted. They then required us to pay $13,000 through Zelle rather than a credit card. Looking back, I deeply regret agreeing to that payment method because we lost the protection a credit card dispute might have provided. The railing arrived, and it was NOTHING like what we had agreed upon. On the first installation day, their crew spent essentially the entire day realizing they did not have the correct railing or the proper materials to install it. We were initially told the incorrect railing would be shipped back. Instead, they decided to attempt a makeshift solution using materials purchased from Home Depot. On their second visit, they spent approximately half the day purchasing additional supplies to make the incorrect railing work. The result was terrible. In our opinion, the installation was completely unacceptable, and we have serious concerns about whether it would even meet building code requirements. The most unbelievable part? They wanted MORE MONEY! Despite completing less than one-fourth of the project, they demanded the remaining contract balance PLUS additional charges, including: * Another $3,000 in labor * Charges for additional materials purchased at Home Depot to make their incorrect railing work * An additional 19 feet of railing resulting from what we believe were their own measurement and installation errors They expected us to pay for their mistakes while insisting we continue with a product that was never what we ordered! We estimate that at least $10,000 worth of materials remained unused, yet we were offered no acceptable refund or way to recover that money. We were essentially left with two unacceptable choices: allow them to continue installing the wrong railing, using methods we had already lost confidence in, while paying additional money, or stop the project and risk losing the $13,000 we had already paid. We chose not to allow them to continue making the situation worse. What makes this especially disappointing is that the company promotes itself as a veteran-associated business. We wanted to support a company representing veterans and expected professionalism, honesty, and accountability. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. PLEASE DO NOT LET FIVE-STAR REVIEWS BE YOUR ONLY DECIDING FACTOR. Before hiring this company, I strongly recommend that you: * Insist on accurate, in-person measurements. * Get written confirmation of the exact materials and railing design. * Verify licensing, insurance, and code compliance. * Never pay such a large deposit through Zelle without understanding the risks. * Use a credit card whenever possible for additional payment protection. * Carefully review the company's history and complaint record. We have serious concerns about our ability to recover our money, and at this point, we have not received an acceptable resolution. WCF has a professional, knowledgeable office staff and ditto for the installer crew. 2. The Installation and appearance of my new fence is precise and badass. The construction of their wood panels and gates is far superior to that of the 'big box' guys. Stringer sizes are consistent, and pickets are thicker. 3. Just as important, they worked with me through a misunderstanding I had (My bad) , which says it all about a service company. 4. Finally, the Price was very competitive. I would recommend West Coast without blinking. Having issues uploading photos . Will keep attempting. The fence now leans at a 45 degree angle after just a normal afternoon windstorm and they tell me "get a handman to fix it we don't warranty our fences". The gates both have to be lifted in order to open or close. The man that installed the first run of fence was fired after the day he worked on my property due to him spending most of his time in his truck smoking and not finishing the job. The owner is rude when you speak to him and doesn't care about customers at all. So I HIGHLY recommend you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! How they have stayed in business this long is simply amazing to me. If zero stars was an option I would give them that. ZERO STARS - DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Andy's came out and did a fantastic job. It has held up better than the Big Box stores fencing during the past hurricanes that we have had. Our neighbor had Lowes do his fence. His panels were taken out during Hurricane Ian, while ours stood steady and strong. Since they did such an awesome job, I also had my parents chainlink fence replaced with the white vinyl. Their house sits on a double lot on a corner. All of the neighbors compliment how much nice the house and property look now. I love the fact that there is privacy around their pool too! That also withstood Hurricane Ian without any damage. Great company and fantastic pricing. Highly recommend calling them and giving them your business.

They hit a snag with the permit which was ironed out and approved by the City on 8/5/24. 100 days later, no word on when the fence will be installed. I've called and left messages for Cean who no longer answers. I called the office and went straight to voice mail. Left another message and no return call which is typical. I have to call and text multiple times to get a response from anyone and then the response is we'll get in touch with the manufacturer and will let you know what they say tomorrow......of course, they have never called back. I'm still waiting.....have paid over $3,000 in June and still sitting with no fence and no ETA nearly 5 months after paying the deposit.......completely pathetic. I would not re-hire this company nor recommend them.
