Dr Doug Paroff saw my very sick dog on a Wed & drew blood, did xrays& told me he would call me the…read morenext day to go over results he had gotten back. I asked if he thought she was dehydrated & my need fluids, he said she wasn't. He never called me the next day so I called the office & someone from the office called me a few hrs later to tell me he had emailed me the results he had gotten back. I if course had no idea what the results meant as he did not include an explanation with the results. The next day my dog was considerably worse. I started calling the office in the morning & advised my dog was worse & I needed to talk to Dr Paroff. I called 3 times that day & he never called me back. He did however take the time to send me an email stating they were understaffed & could not meet my demands. My demands being what should I do with my dig who is dying!!!. I ended up taking her to Highland Square veterinary clinic who worked me in even tho Annie was not a patient there. They diagnosed Annie with the results that Dr Paroff himself sent over to them. He told me he couldn't diagnosed her because he didn't have all the results back. This vet immediately sent us to the hospital as Annie was so sick. They admitted her to ICU & diagnosed her with lymphoma & liver failure. So 2 vets were able to diagnose her with the results that Dr Paroff sent them. Dr Paroff missed it. He had the nerve to call me on Mon, 5 days later to see how Annie was. I have been a client at Stow Kent Animal Hospital for 30 yrs & have never been treated like this before. He was not able to diagnose my dog & he also did not have the decency to call me when i needed him the most. I will never go back to Stow Kent Animal Hospital again. I think Dr Paroff is a horrible vet but even worse a horrible human being. He showed absolutely no remorse for the way he treated me & my dog. He is a piece of shit! Steer clear of Dr Paroff!​

Nice folks but understaffed which caused a problem with my dogs heartworm meds. Had heartworm test…read moredone there which came back negative but there is a disconnect between this office and chewy. They are denying chewys fax requests for meds because they said they wrote a prescription. This is not correct and now my dog is overdue for meds
