We booked Clearly the Best Photo Booths for our May 30, 2015 wedding. We were attracted to this…read morecompany after seeing them at a Bridal Expo because they allowed you to give a copy of the photo to each guest and they seemed reasonably priced. Our venue informed us later (after explaining why the A/C wasn't working) that the photo booth had set up where they were not supposed to and blew a fuse that took a few hours to get maintenance to fix (it was a historic venue). That wasn't the end of the world even though the venue was attributing that to the photo booth, i realized that circuits blow. The main issue I had with their service is they allow you to pick out your background for the booth and what you want printed on the bottom of your pictures. We never had time to visit the booth during the wedding ourselves. We paid extra to get a copy of all of the pictures the guests took on a flash drive. Issue 1: Imagine my surprise when we returned from our honeymoon to see that they had used tacky black and orange patterned jungle print as the background for the photos (we were at the zoo so it really was over the top) instead of the silver/white we selected. The representative told me afterwards that the one we selected was on the back of the tacky print and they just used the wrong side. Issue 2: The first few guests that took photos in the booth printed out with "NHMS 8th grade dance 5.29.15" on the bottom. I understand all people make mistakes, but it is our wedding and it is pretty unprofessional to have our guests' favors printing out saying they are at an 8th grade dance. Issue 3: Customer service. The worst part of the service was the customer service. After discovering the picture mishaps I reached out to the owner who told me he would investigate and get back to me. I requested a partial refund for their errors. He then dodged my emails for over a month, finally replying on July 18 that their servers crashed and that is why he didn't follow up with me. They did not offer any refund for the services that they screwed up as a gesture of good faith. I wouldn't recommend them because they seem to be sloppy in making sure they are setting up the details you selected for your wedding. I am not a very picky bride, I just wanted them to acknowledge that of the 3 things we were allowed to "customize" they messed up two of them (We paid extra for the outer covering of the photo booth to not be black and they did that right).

They also do not take accountability when they show up nearly 3 hours late, or resolve it in a professional manner whatsoever. Beware, not only do you NOT get your security deposit back, you do not get anywhere NEAR the outrageous price you pay for this service should something go wrong. I would HIGHLY advise you look elsewhere, then having to deal with this company.

I left the design of the border to the owner. I told him what I wanted and based on his other work I saw and how receptive he was to my needs I trusted his judgment and was not disappointed. Their service was impeccable, especially when faced with the challenge of an early delivery mishap. Their willingness to share the cost of overnight shipping to ensure we had the photo booth for our big day was beyond what we could have asked for. We chose the more expensive model and the quality of the photos, even in less than ideal lighting, was amazing, and the ease of use and ability to text photos directly made it a hit. Seeing the full gallery of photos afterwards was a joy, capturing so many wonderful moments. I can't thank Pixilated enough for adding such a memorable and enjoyable aspect to our wedding celebration - which also saved us a lot of money compared to a staffed photo booth!

They arrived to our event before their scheduled start time and set up their booth. I love that the pictures print out within seconds of finishing the last pose! My husband and I went to the "booth" six times throughout the night! (It's not really a booth you get inside of, but all open space.) The actual pictures look great and really professional. The pictures were available on their website (which was printed on the bottom of the printed photos) a few days after the event. You can download them with their logo or purchase the picture if you don't want the logo on them. I would have loved to have something like this at our wedding, but these were not around (and if they were, then they were not as popular then!) at that time. I would definitely recommend Pixilated for your next event!

I got a small refund after fighting for it and was also told I would get a 10 by 10 canvas for a photo of our choosing. The company stopped replying about that. Pretty much you can go with ANY other Photo Booth company and get better service because there's absolutely no reason to go with this company. They can't deliver on anything they promise and for an event like a wedding, I would 200% go with a more trustworthy company. Just fyi the photobooth also broke down for a short time too during the wedding. I so regret choosing them! Danielle, Janine, Lindo, Anna at this company are jokes of employees. Their email also got hacked and I got phishing emails. They knew about it and didn't even bother contacting their clients about it to warn them. Scam of a company.

Later I found out the guy acted annoyed to our guests that wanted to get their photos taken. I'm very disappointed that I paid for this for our wedding and wish we had never heard about a portable Photo Booth. I left a bad review through their website and heard nothing back. They were also weeks late in delivering the crap photos from the wedding in the online portal. Again, please avoid the portable photo booth. Don't fall for it.

I'm also very glad that Ashley includes an engagement photo session in her packages. We weren't sure if we wanted to do one, but again, Ashley's experience here was invaluable.
