Clarke's have a really good selection of meat wehther you like it sliced, diced, chucked, minced, casseroled, braised and the prices are not silly. The pork, beek and lamb I have bought from there has all been from Wales. The mince meat I had looked low in fat. Lamb is always my favourite. If you are not a great cook, its very hard to go wrong with a pre prepared lamb kebab on the skewer with different coloured peppers. Their home made beef burgers are just 70p each. They are more than happy to give you the meaty facts if you want to go in and ask about what you are buying. Bon appetite.

On the meat counter a fine selection of meat.poultry and game and qualified butchers on hand to advise you. They stock a wonderful range of sausages and I have to admit the moroccan lamb is fantastic.Also inside is a deli section that sell cheeses and sauces and prepared meat balls and all sorts of delicacies. No good for Chinese or Thai ingredients but that is already well catered for here... really recommend, excellent butcher and with fresh bread being baked and sold in there it really is worth a look

Their menu's offer delicious combinations of fillings so there is usually something that suits everyone's taste. The food is all of a healthy nature and even their burgers are great quality. I ordered a burger (freshly cooked in a couple of minutes) with raw onions and mayonnaise for just £2 which was served in a large plain white bun; that definitely filled me and I would go back again whenever I'm in need of a convenient lunch. Since they boast such a wide variety of ingredients such as various pre-cooked meats, sliced salads and other condiments, the choice is really yours. In addition, they sell jacket potatoes which sound mouth-watering and tempting (especially on a cold day)! Clarke's Richmond Deli is much better than your average sandwich bar.
