The technician claimed it needed new stems and said they'd order the parts. Then they made us wait over a week while they supposedly "looked" for the part--only to finally admit they never ordered it in the first place. Meanwhile, another plumber came out and fixed the leak in minutes without needing any new stems, proving their diagnosis was completely wrong. They keep pointing to their GPS to justify the time, but most of that time the tech was sitting in his truck doing nothing, milking the clock while we were being charged. We were overcharged, misled, and left without a repair. Save yourself the frustration--use someone else.

I believe Armstrong sold me a used or refurbished unit because they haven't provided me any documentation to support that the unit purchased was new! I have contacted several times asking them for these documents! I have reached out to Armstrong multiple times and they still have not attempted to fix the problem!! This is a follow-up to my previous review. I called another…read moreplumber regarding my water tank. As it turns out, the work performed previously was shoddy. According to the plumber that repaired my tank, Leak-Tek had used the wrong wire nuts and the wires were loose and arcing. Not only did this keep my tank from working, this could have led to a fire that could have destroyed my home. In addition, the same parts that were replaced by Leak-Tek had to be replaced again. Upon inspection by the plumber, the parts Leak-Tek installed were not OE parts even though it was a warranty repair. I have not had any problems since the legitimate plumbing professional serviced my tank. Be careful with who you choose to do repairs in your home.

He quoted window replacement (for a significant amount less than an out of town company quoted a couple years ago), skirting replacement, and replacing a couple of siding panels. There was a miscommunication about the scheduled start date and they were short some skirting materials that extended the finish date. The crew (Henry and Greg) were polite, considerate, and skilled. They never left the house open - as quick as they pulled a window out they had a new one in - and even though they couldn't finish the skirting they used other material to keep the underside closed until they did finish. And the trim they installed around the inside of the windows looks great! Dave came by when the work was done to inspect the job and collect the check, waiting until the job was all the way finished to ask for payment. I will recommend D & B Ultra Exteriors to anyone that needs windows, siding, or skirting.
