History

Established in 1992.

With a firm foundation in customer service, and a bright future ahead of him, Cotton (owner of A+ Tax Service) signed on with a big name tax preparation company. As with most companies, the years went by and the company got bigger. With this growth, and then the company being publicly traded, the focus soon became money over customer satisfaction. Cotton is a West Texan at heart and couldn't sit back & watch while everything he worked so hard to build was changing. So in 2010 he took the leap, broke ties with the big dogs, and opened up A+ Tax Service. Here he could, once again, focus on the most important aspect of the job...the client and their satisfaction. 2017 marked Twenty Five years of Tax Preparation for Cotton Cave. Throughout those 25 years, a lot has changed, but Cotton's dedication to the client will never wane!

Meet the Business Owner: Cotton C.

Cotton started his tax career by preparing taxes on the weekend while he worked another job full-time. Somewhere in his spare time he received his Masters in Accounting and after moving back to San Angelo & opening up his first tax office he sat for his CPA. Cotton opened up A+ Tax Service after working for a big name company for 15+ years and seeing their dedication to the customer get further and further from where he felt it should be. As the owner of A+ Tax Service, Cotton is the leader of the company in both name and action.
