I've had two kids here for four years. I've been through many daycares until Landon here and I'm happy I did because they've learned more here than anywhere else they've been, because they actually teach them. You can't prevent kids from biting other kids. When your kids are in public you can't prevent a others actions; however, A+ has always worked with me. They are amazing staff and very nice people. Outside play area is covered and turfed. Facility is locked with electronic locking system. Cameras in every room. Happy with my kids time here. Last one is moving into kindergarten but I'm confident they've done an amazing job helping prepare my kids for their next steps. read more

A Plus Learning Academy is worth every bit of the wait for enrollment. We've been through a few daycares while we waited for enrollment - we nearly opted to keep our kids at their former daycare to avoid another change when we were accepted into A Plus. We thought "it's just daycare". But it's not. It is a NIGHT and DAY difference between the daycare centers. I get feedback on my children's progress that I don't have solicit for. My 4-year-old comes home talking about all the letters and words he's learned and what they did in centers. He has become more responsible and has grown socially. There is a curriculum that is actually FOLLOWED versus just plastered on the wall to save face for some accreditation body like our former daycares. I love knowing what letters, books, activities, etc that they are doing on a daily basis because they post it weekly. Having that available helps us to talk about what he learned, follow up on his reading, and build on at home. My daughter is in the toddler class and it's a similar experience. I have no doubt that my children will be more than prepared for public school when they're of age. Prior to A Plus enrollment, I considered placing my son in BECS next year to help prepare him for school. Now that we're here - there's no way I'd take him out of his school. He's getting an exceptional education. I work as an NP and my physician, nursing, and APP colleagues, as well as many educator friends, have constantly raved about A Plus. Again, I didn't think "daycare" could really vary that much from place to place. I wish I would have listened to them sooner and started my kids here from the beginning. Where shall I start, first the issues started small. My little girl whom is under one would come home with diapers filled with urine. Food, jelly and boogers all over her face and in her hair. Upon bringing it to the owner, Amanda Winklers attention it was shrugged off. The issues that really aggravated me began when she got moved up to children older than her at the schools request. This quickly led to her getting bit. Hard enough to leave marks for three days. I confronted the owner and was told it was expected behavior. I understand it happens but I still feel her response was very scripted. The next week she was but again in the face. I confronted Amanda the owner again to her once again downplaying the incident. I was told it was normal and acceptable. I'm sorry, while it may happen once in awhile it is not acceptable. I looked her in the eyes and asked "is they biting incidents in two weeks acceptable to you?" Her response was yes. She replied hunny I am a professional and I know what I am talking about. She mentioned A Plus is the best and all other daycares will lie to us if they say biting is not acceptable. Her teachers don't stay long, they are under paid and over worked. Very little child supervision. She also kicked us out of her daycare because she was confronted about the biting. Then she is playing games with the refund she owes us. Stay away, there are much better. read more

Amanda and her husband think they are better than everyone. She throws comments out about her education all the time. My child had a blistered butt every time I picked him up. She has horrible staff. Brenda Newman is the worst, non educated and claims she a "teacher". She calls in all the time stating she's sick meanwhile she's shopping. She talks so much crap about the center as well, but of course to Amanda's face the center is perfect. When you ask Amanda or Justin to see their videos of your child she/he will say they already deleted them and/or play dumb like they have no clue what you're talking about. read more

If I could give ZEROOO stars I would!!!! My daughter started here when she was 8 months old. We loved her original two teachers she had; however, I was asked by the owner Amanda if my daughter could be moved into a classroom with 1yr olds and older so she had more room to play. It was so they could move more babies into the place which meant more money for them. After moving in that classroom there was nothing but problems. My daughter was bit twice in two weeks by an older child in her class. Once on the arm and the second time in the face! Both times she had teeth marks left on her for more than one day. According to the owner and this daycare biting is acceptable behavior. Yes we understand things happen, but when the owner said acceptable and happens daily and would not do anything to fix the problem we had an issue. We brought the second incident to her attention and we were concerned with our daughter being a baby and getting bit. She did not like being confronted about the situation and told us that day our daughter was no longer to return and we could pack her things and leave!! But let the "biter" remain in the daycare. She told us "this is the best daycare there is" "all other places will lie to you". We already payed for the entire month and she refused to refund us the full amount. Til this day she would not return my final email about the amount of money she owed us, about $170. Our daughter should have never been in that classroom or sleeping on a cot off the floor when she was under 1 yr old. Besides this, every week she had some type of sickness fevers, colds, viruses, double pink eye, projectile vomiting, hand foot and mouth, etc. Everyday picking her up she had dry food all over her hair, face, runny nose they would never help her wipe or clean her up, clothes looking a mess and missing socks everyday, I even picked her before and she was sitting in the high chair covered in poop. It disgusts me how she was cared for. They only let you bring cold food for your child and will not warm it up. This place looks like the best & most expensive, but it is NOT a good place. They have also had lice for months there and it is not addressed and disregarded. Our daughter had about 5 different "teachers" within the 4 months of her attending here....hmmm I wonder why...?
