She even gave me tips about what I should do/pricing and things like that! Then I show up and they have even more than I could imagine!! They can do prints on pretty much anything, tote, bags, shirts, coasters, you name it and they can do it!! They had so many homemade goodies like pickles and jellies and jams. I pull the mat out of my car to get the smoothie off of it, while keeping the trash(the lid and some old mail). Some man who I suppose works there comes running out complaining that someone will track in the smoothie, mind you, 190 is super busy and this whole parking lot is empty. I start saying "oh my bad" and he threatens to call the police, although I'm not sure what they would do because I don't shop here, nor am I littering.. there was also a dirty diaper already sitting in the parking lot that someone else had littered, not sure what the smoothie would have done that the diaper couldnt do.. they started recording us as if we were robbing the place or something while we were already in the car driving off. I have lawyers on speed dial if we wanna play that game.

It's a pharmacy where everyone knows your name :-) They have plenty of medical necessities for ourchase such as creams you find in the hospitals (calmseptine) to locally produced items such as candles and Nola apparels. I usually come here to fill a prescription that other "retail" pharmacies do not carry. Today they only had a few of my pills left in stock. They filled what they had and will call me next week to come get the rest. How nice! I really like that old town feel that we are currently missing! I hope everyone can come support their locals. I think my prescription may be a few dollars more but worth it for supporting my local pharmacy.

Then the guy behind the pharmacy counter asked me if I was picking up meds- and I said "no, thank you very much for your good customer service" and then I looked at him- a man would like to hand me medicines for my very ill husband... unmasked. Then I looked around and all 3 of the employees I saw in the store were unmasked. I understand people's desires for freedom, but I also know the burden of dealing with long term effects of viral illnesses- and I know the burden of caution for someone I love who is highly vulnerable. It isn't something I would wish on anyone- and I don't just wish- I know my actions to prevent the spread of illness matter. I'd think a pharmacy next to the hospital would do better. I've seen this at restaurants and grocery stores- but a pharmacy?? Put a sign on the outside "attention- employees at the store don't wear masks- if that's cool with you come on in. If you are visiting ting someone at the hospital with a high infection risk or have a high infection risk yourself- shop at Walgreens" I would've gone elsewhere.
