Woke up after first surgery and 9 screws. 2 weeks later after my first check in appt, got a blood infection. Week in the hospital and another surgery to clean the incisions. Was doing great, healing up and one of the screws broke free and wanted to popup out of my foot. Third surgery, "they do that sometimes" . Healing up after that and start having a bone pushing down in the arch of my foot. This caused a sore to develop. Another surgery, "15 min on my table and it will take care of it" all these surgeries, the sore is back, i cant move my foot correctly and its not aligned right. sore is back again and I am looking for someone ti fix it right!

Colorado Orthopedic Consultants in Aurora is an organized office. They sent me texts and emails prior to the appointment to get paperwork filled out. Once I arrived I had a short wait to see the doctor. His PA came in first and looked at my ankle and then I had X-rays done to check on status of fracture and healing. Dr. Meyers evaluated the X-rays and found my ankle was healing. All of the rooms I was in were clean and stocked with cleaning wipes. The office has a large area for physical therapy that I just saw. Be aware that parking is limited outside; there is a large parking garage that I ended up in since this office is adjacent to a hospital.

My arm was NOT healing and the pain was unbearable and they didn't seem to even care. Dr. DeLaRosa immediately said he was very concerned on my first visit and ordered blood tests and took x-rays and told me that there is definitely something delaying the union of the bone and it was not okay to keep waiting. Within 2 weeks, we had performed surgery and my bone had been stuck in the muscle the whole time and was never going to heal without surgery. Dr DeLaRosa put in a plate and screws and the bone is literally in perfect alignment again! Today my arm is nearly back to full function and better every day! When I got there, none of the pre-paperwork have been done by the clinic, and they expected me to pay $1742!!! How awful and what an awful experience!
