I got dip which I've gotten many times before at other places but she definitely did one of the best jobs I've seen. She was very careful and made sure that my nails came out perfect and that I liked them as well. The process took about an hour, like I said not rushed at all which is a good thing. I also have heard that all of the nail techs are just as good! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, I did not get what design I originally went for. The guy that did my nails spent an…read morehour shaping my nail... I didn't ask for a fancy shape; stiletto, coffin, or square. He was shaping the nail for no reason! The design I asked for, he could not do. Therefore, I decided to just go with a full color, no design nail. The colors on the palette were so, unbelievably off it's not even comparable. At first I chose, what I thought, was a dark red. It applied as a bright pink. I ended up asking for a new, dark red. And it's still not exactly the color I originally wished for, but it was about 2 hours into the appointment, and I wanted to leave. The actual nail acrylic want the worst quality I've seen. It was more of a cheap plastic material. Overall, the staff was nice, but if I'm paying for a service to be done right, I would like it to be, at least, okay quality.

I'm SO glad I listened to everyone because it turned out to be a great experience. My hair stylist and make-up artist, Jacqueline, was WONDERFUL! All the girls at the salon were sweet and made sure my entire bridal shower was comfortable. I highly recommend getting Jacqueline for any of your beauty needs!

Anyway, I scheduled an appt. with them. A few days later, they called to cancel the appt. and ask me to reschedule. I have called them THREE TIMES in the past week and left messages with a voice mail messaging system. Today I tried again, and I got the message that their inbox is full. What is going on?! Is this place closing? The message said that they may not be able to get back to me for "several days," however long that is. Now I am afraid I am going to run out of time to use my certificate before it expires (6 months from the time of purchase). I have a feeling I will be finding a new place to get a massage! I'm not happy now.

Had my first laser session with Mary yesterday, and I cannot say enough good things about it…read more Located in the New Hartford Shopping Center, the first impression you get when you walk in to the waiting room is very calm, clean, posh business. It's tastefully decorated - Mary also shares the space with Sandy, who does nails, spray tans, etc. Mary went over all of the paperwork and disclaimers of having the procedure. She tested a patch on my arm with her laser just to make sure I was comfortable before we proceeded (I ended up having my legs and underarms treated). Mary was test-driving a new laser, not her regular one, so my experience may be a bit different from others, but the laser was SO COMFORTABLE, there was barely any snapping on my skin. First, Mary smooths on some sonogram gel to the area she's treating, and then goes over with the laser. The laser gets a little warm, but the sensation isn't unpleasant. I've had laser in the past, and it was painful, to the point where at times I suffered burns on my skin. I was shocked at how painless this was. The whole process, full legs and underarms, took about an hour, although it seemed faster. I paid $250 for the session, although it will fluctuate depending on the amount of hair you have and the number of treatments you need, and what areas you are having treated. I thought Mary's prices were fair and reasonable, and I will definitely be back.

I scheduled an appointment and was helped as soon as I arrived-despite the salon being packed (so I do suggest calling ahead of time and not just walking in). I was greeted by Thomas and set up in my pedicure chair to soak. I had a jell-o pedicure for the first time and liked it...it's definitely a must try! After that I sat for my nails. I showed Thomas two pictures and told him to choose which one he wanted to do (I'm extremely indecisive) and boy did he deliver! No hesitation of what to do and not one time did I question his ability to do them correctly. It was such a relief to find someone who can deliver a quality manicure with gel dip, FINALLY! Also, after they finish your nails you receive a hand massage with sugar scrub, which I felt was much better than regular lotion like most places would use.
