I had originally gone to their location in temple. They had just raised their prices by a lot with…read morepromises of updating equipment and some other things which I was excited about given that the gym was out of date with some equipment having spider nest all over them. I was allowed to keep the excitement for 2 days, that is until it shutdown over night right after I paid my annual fees which were over $100 for me and my fiancé. We were told we could go to their other location in harker heights. We tried it out, the person at the front said all I had to do was check in as usual, and I didn't have to open another membership. The equipment is old, and some of the machines don't work. Once something's out of order it doesn't get fixed, it just sits there with an out of order sign. It is not very clean and anytime I had a question in either locations regarding membership, no one at the front desk knew the answer. There were maybe 2 occasions where I got helped by someone who knew what was going on. I went this morning to workout and was told my membership was null and that I had to make a new membership and pay all the fees again. It's only been 2 months since the temple gym shut down. I explained how I came from their other location that shut down and have been working out here since and was told I didn't need to make a new membership. I tried to open the membership again since I did really enjoy their dry sauna, but the employee did not know how to open memberships only how to check people in which anyone can do on the app, my app just wasn't working. I was made to pay for a day pass and it wasn't even worth it because after trying to figure out what was going on with our memberships I had very little time to workout. The prices are also really expensive for a gym that's very run down. I am a very patient person which is why I kept giving the gym chance after chance, but having a gym membership shouldn't be this stressful.

I think it sucks you have to pay to swim here and I learned that their pool wasn't working well during the winter months something about the temperature wasn't working well. Anyways, my encounter with the staff has been good, no complaints. I haven't toured the entire facility but I've seen there's multiple rooms with lots of gym equipment, I'd love to hit the weight room one of these days but I'm pregnant right now, so that'll have to wait. Wish there was a vending machine here though, I'm not going to lie.

The women's bathroom is so extremely hot. It also never has toilet paper when i'm there and the showers don't look like they get cleaned. I told the lady at the front desk the bathrooms were out of toilet paper as well as the soap dispensers were out and she told me that the janitors do all that. Does the staff not restock anything? Also the pool is kinda gross. There needs to be more sanitation stations as well! A lot of the equipment was out of order.

Plenty of room for gym goers to comfortably conduct their workouts. The water pressure and temperature of the sinks is weak and cold, but the shower water pressure is strong and heated properly. The gym itself is amazing, but the management is another story…read more There's a manager -- a young white woman with long hair who usually wears a black sports jacket and is often at the front desk -- whose behavior has been concerning. On multiple occasions, I've overheard her speaking negatively about coworkers and employees to other staff members, often about personal matters rather than work performance. I even once heard her say she hoped someone would get fired. As a manager myself, I find this behavior highly unprofessional and immature. A manager's role is to lead by example and create a respectful work environment, not to foster negativity or gossip. The way she conducts herself at the front desk sets a poor example and creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for staff and members alike. No employee should have to worry about being spoken about in such a manner by someone in a leadership position.
