My new LAMY fountain pen, with a 1.5 Calligraphy nib, and a converter.
Robert H.

If you are searching for a pen that uniquely fits to you, this is the place to check out. In this day and age of standardizations, one's own handwriting style is one of the few remaining uniquenesses that any person can claim for their own identity (to say "I made this one of a kind creation with my own hands"). Each letter can become a once in a lifetime art-work, to each word, to each page, then finally volumes of a one of a kind footprint of one's own thought to paper. And each pen, to a calligrapher, has its own uniqueness. I've searched so many stores online and in person, and this is the only one that I've been able to go to actually hold and try out different pens and nibs (and their different materials and builds), and actually talk from experience and get feedback from people face to face. It would take me a lifetime to actually try out all the different types of pens and inks here. But at least now, there is a place for me to go to explore the journey of finding a pen that would fit me and my writing journey. This truly is "A Pen Lovers Paradise". Being in the store is inspirational. I definitely have my eye on a few different types to upgrade too as my skill progresses. "Amidst the digital world, they say there is something about putting pen to paper."

I wouldn't have my collection without Pen paradise!

This is my pen paradise. I have been collecting pens for the past 10 years. And Pen paradise has kept my passion alive! They have tons of options and range from many different styles and brands. The owner is super friendly and very informative when it comes to her merchandise. This location is the candy shop of pens in the 757 area. Technology has its place. But history has shown us that a Pen, has been the number one item that has changed the course of history. And it continues to be that item. I love pens, and this place in amazing!

Pam is one of the most friendly, helpful and outgoing merchants I have had the pleasure of buying WITH, not from.

My mom offered to get my college degree framed for me for a Christmas present. So I looked around…read moreto see where I wanted to go for the framing. I live close to Bernstein's Gallery so I decided to go check it out one day. There was a sign outside the door that stated framing started at $19.99. However, this $19.99 framing was the cheapest looking gold frame - NOT what I wanted at all. The employee who helped me was very nice and took time with me to pick out several framing/matting options. After we got done with all the options, the frame/matt that I picked out was close to $200.00. I'm not complaining about the pricing because I know that framing is usually expensive and that you only get your college degree framed once. He was kind enough to write down all the names and colors so that I could discuss the options with my mom and we could make a decision together. She ended up going somewhere else to get the degree framed, but I'm still appreciative for the time the employee took out of his day to help me make a decision. This store also has art supplies, but honestly I didn't pay much attention to that section of the store.

Came here for a quote for a float frame. A float frame is just the wood frame without glass or mat…read more The owner quoted me $200.00 just for the wood frame. It was shocking. I found a better quality wood frame on-line for $50.00 each with free delivery. Local frame shops should rethink their prices and customer service. I needed 6 frames. As much as I want to support local businesses, in this case I saved $900.00.

Last year I would have given Michaels 4 . Then they bought out ACMoore, closed all those stores and…read moreraised their prices. Michaels use to be pretty good. NOW that they are the only craft store in town they have declined and become very expensive. They use to be more of a craft store and now they are more of a home goods store. They carry a lot less DIY items and less arts and crafts overall. My10 year old niece was even turned off by going in. You NEVER see anyone to get help or ask questions. So you have to wait in line to ask for assistance and even then it is not great. For example: she is looking for things to keep her busy for the summer. Like candle making. They did NOT even have the basics. So we bought the basics that they had and then had to order the rest from amazon. Just to get the basics. She had 4 other crafts on her list but they just did not have it. She was looking for tie dye. They had NOTHING. They had T-shirts but nothing else. We went over to Walmart and got tons of tie dye. The stores are not even fully stocked. I saw a lot of empty space . One last really weird thing. My niece was looking for the mini sticker maker. She was even willing to spend 80 on it. They carry the refill but they do NOT carry the sticker maker. Why is this???????? If someone figures out what their goal is I wish someone will explain it to me. It seems like they just want to be a home goods store
