Told my insurance he placed a crown on my tooth that he NEVER PLACED 4 years ago. I tried calling him to have him cancel that with insurance and let them know he never placed it. He screamed at me that my crown WAS STILL IN OFFICE 4 YEARS LATER. and I needed to go in to let him place the 4 YEAR OLD CROWN. when I said no i refuse to let him touch my mouth ever again he screamed hung up and blocked my phone number and now I'm going back and forth with insurance to get a new crown placed I will be filing a complaint against his license with the state of California, Medi-cal AND the dental board. I went in today to have my upper teeth removed for dentures. Dr. Wang left parts of one tooth and the entire root of another tooth. Once I discovered this I tried to call him twice and left two messages, he still hasn't called me back. My appointment was at 8:30 a.m. so he had all day to get back to me. Tomorrow I will drive over there myself. I know two people who got their dentures there and they look really amazing, but this doctor has zero people skills that's why he doesn't even have a receptionist! Unfortunately I'm limited to where I can go with my insurance. I'm having heart surgery in 3 weeks and it will be 6 months after that before I can have any dental work done at all! He knows this. So be careful of that he did two teeth on me every time over use of anesthesia and I went to emergency room every time sick for days . I had such a bad experience with these guys. They told me what I needed to get from my dentist so I did. Over a month later I hear nothing from them so I called them for them to tell me they don't have everything they need. So I asked what it is that I need and I call my dentist back and have them send it to them. Still hear nothing two and a half weeks later. I call and they say yes we have all the paperwork. A week later the main dental guy called me and tells me I don't have the paperwork I was supposed to get and being very rude to me and telling me it's my responsibility not nobody else is very rude very very rude. Negative stars if possible. Worst dentist I ever had. Down to the core Dr.Wang is an awful man, and I thought I just had bad luck but now I believe he scams people. When I asked questions he called them stupid and when I tried to reason with him he would start yelling over my words to get me to shut up. Very toxic. I was honestly afraid of getting in the chair but at the time he was the only dentist who took dental-cal. Always had very good remarks from other dentists but this one was always telling me I have cavities. He would point to pictures of my teeth and say "see that black dot that's the cavity" and there was NOTHING there and I told him this and he would just tell me I didn't know anything and my teeth would fall out if I didn't get them filled. When he did my fillings (that I didn't need) he injected me at least 8 different times (with the numbing agent). Usually the dentist does 1-2 syringes before they start but he kept injecting me throughout my time in the chair and it was way too much. I was scared, he never asked if this was ok he would just give me another syringe full if I budged even just a little. Like it was his way of controlling me. It was scary I finally left after he told me I had 7 cavities, referencing pictures that didn't show anything but normal, clean teeth. I paid out of pocket to get a second opinion at a dentist who claimed I had my usual zero cavities. Oh. And one of the fillings he did I don't know why or how but there's a space between two of my teeth that was never there before and I ALWAYS get food stuck in it. I hate him for that. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO SEE THIS DENTIST! I am trying to save you from having work done wrong and having to have it all redone or possibly lose your teeth because of bad work that he did. This is exactly what has happened to me. Several fillings he did he left decay on the tooth by not drilling deep enough and then just placed a filling on top of it. They hurt and all have to be replaced. He said I needed a root canal on a molar and did it incorrectly and now it is going to cost thousands to go see an endodontist to redo the root canal and then have a crown placed over it again. He left part of his ins his instrument in the root of my tooth because it broke off while he worked on it, and did the root canal incorrectly. Then he over-charged me for a crown 1700 dollars but cemented the crown on leaving a gap at the bottom near my bone for food to get in and get infected or get cavity. The crown had to be immediately sawed off and the endodontist discovered that he had ground down half of my molar to the bone for no reason except he's terrible, completely removing the structure of the tooth and now they don't know if the tooth is salvageable because of it. I am currently on antibiotics awaiting the new dentist's opinion. After his root canal it immediately got infected and my face swelled up because he did it wrong. I was told at the endodontic's office that Dr. Wang had his license to practice dentistry temporarily suspended in November of 2021 due to incompetence. He is a completely incompetent dentist that should NEVER BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE. He has had many consumer complaints filed against him with the state of California. He is WIDELY KNOWN in the dental community in the area to be a totally terrible dentist. Please don't go here yourself, all the work he does will have to be redone and you will also be risking having tooth loss because of him. He completely screwed me over. read more

Terrible bedside manner, clearly doesn't care about his patients, the few months that I did attend his services he went threw interns and staff like nothing, always taking new patients because he can't keep anyone! I had a root canal done, they decided to tell me dental cal doesn't pay for the crown the day of ! Months later my temporary fell out and my tooth chipped after him and his whole staff said I was ok to go. Came back to help fix it til I get the crown, he denied service til I paid for a crown! No help to relieve the BS he did to my mouth! He is also very rough and acts up when you speak up. No class, no morals, no respect! Don't go here it's waste of time, he shouldn't be practicing medicine! Run !! Go anywhere but here! I'd give it a -5 Star rating! DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! If I could give 0 stars, I would! First of all, Dr. Wang has 8 placards in his waiting room that were given by the "Consumers' Research Council of America" and award him as "America's Top Dentist". Upon further research, I discovered that this council was implicated in a scandal in 2012 that proved that these awards are false and available for purchase (costs ranging between $99-350). If you want to look into this, ABC news has a report on it, just google the phrase "Consumers Research Council of America Fraud ABC" Now, to the other issue. I went in to get a cavity filled by Dr. Wang, and not only did he improperly (and painfully) inject the numbing serum into my mouth, he also chipped my tooth during the process of filling my cavity. Upon seeing my bleeding tooth and a chip, I politely informed him about it to which he adamantly denied responsibility and proceeded to tell me that my tooth was "already like that" before I had come in. He is a horrible dentist, and I wish I had checked his Yelp page before going to see him (he has 1.5 stars and hopefully this review lowers it down to 1). The worst experience I ever had at a dentist office. The staff is unprofessional and the doctor himself is not caring and rude. They kept all the front doors wide open - it was cold and drafting- I was freezing! I asked them to close at least one door and they just said - No! That's it, just No! The guy who was taking x-rays tortured me for half an hour and could not make it right, doing and redoing those images like I can take all the radiation. After he was done - big surprise- he saved my xrays under someone else's name - and could not find them!!! I did not understand Dr. Wang (I'm hard of hearing & his english is not so good) so he came across as rude & inconsiderate (which he is not) and the previous office manager was not helpful to me or I believe Dr. Wang (this was about a year ago) so there were verbal misunderstandings. Since roughly 6-8 months ago a new office manager took over and I am getting help from her (Betty) relay my dental concerns to Dr. Wang which has made me more confident with my dentist & the running of the office. 9 months ago I took my son to this office and was told he had 9 cavities mind you I was very shocked since my son has had no cavities before. I had some hesitation but assumed the dentist was right. But after being told I had to pay the remaining balance of $260 because my secondary insurance wouldn't cover the balance I refused the treatment, and reported this office to My insurance companies. When they called to confirm the appt, I was told it was changed from 8:30am to 10am by the dentist himself. I got there on time. Front desk didn't let me know that I was an hour an a half early... My girlfriend recently got her wisdom teeth pulled from this office. After a couple follow up appointments with the dentist, one of the male assistants named Limuel contacted her via text message, using his personal cell phone, for personal reasons. She never gave Limuel her phone number, meaning he got her number from her medical record. He texted her asking her to send him a picture of herself. No surprise, I called Limuel and tried to talk about the situation and he hung up. I called again and got his voicemail and left him a voicemail saying that behavior is not at all okay and that I would be contacting the dentist office to speak with his supervisor. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to speak with his supervisor about the incident. Obvious rating given the events that happened to my girlfriend. Do not go to this dental office. read more

I made an appointment with this office because they accept denti-cal. My x-rays and basic cleaning were free, so the service I experienced was acceptable and about what I expected, up until I met the girl at the front desk. I did not get her name. I received a referral from Dr. Wang for an issue, and the office they referred me to is in Hollister. I asked if there was anyone closer. With an attitude, she told me I could Google that for myself. I'm sure I made a face because she added that the office in Hollister is who their office refers people to. I smiled and thanked her and explained I'm new to this whole "going to the dentist" and referral type of thing. She replied, with an attitude, that she just got out of dental school, so she's new too, but she's learning for herself. The implication by her tone was that I need to learn for myself. She's the employee, I'm a patient asking questions. She's obviously new to customer service and working as well. I did cancel an appointment to fill my cavities because I am concerned about the level of service I'll receive, even though it is free through denti-cal. (During my x-rays, several had to be retaken, during my cleaning water was sprayed in my face twice, they over dried my mouth which caused my lip to crack, which was what I didn't mind for free, but I am afraid to get fillings from them.) Paid for 5 over a few appointments, as well as co-pay they weren't legally allowed to charge me. Finally took my daughter to a Pediatric dentist and they said she had zero cavities. She put them in her mouth and then said "these aren't mine. They literally gave a customer THE WRONG DENTURES. The assistants panicked and went back and finally found her actual dentures, then tried to charge her for it even though she said she already paid for them! This is all while I'm just waiting in the waiting room. The service itself was also pretty bad. Super sketchy equipment, they made me do the x-rays SO many times because she kept messing it up...the doctor was fine but really didn't seem invested in any of it. Granted, there's a bit of a language barrier but conversing during procedures isn't on my list of needs, his staff has always clarified whatever I missed. I have been to dentists twice a year all my life and never have I been treated as badly as I was in this dental office. I never understood why people hated going to the dentist before, but now I do. They were downright rude and laughed at me, acting like it was my fault their cheap x-ray sensors (that I had to hold together) did not fit in my mouth, and then then they tried to rope me into additional procedures that I didn't need.
