Prior to the actual start date we began bringing our baby over to make a transition to the environment and children. By the first actual day our baby was ready and acclimated. As a new mom returning to work it was the biggest relief and sense of security. It's hard enough leaving your child but knowing they are happy and cared for is priceless. Fast forward a year later from initially meeting with her and having our baby with her I can honestly say has been the best blessing imaginable. She loves the children so much and they truly love her. They light up around her and you can feel the connection. She makes them healthy meals and snacks for both breakfast and lunch. She educates them and teaches them manners, patience, respect, independence, and kindness to one another. The children all play harmoniously and are so social and smart. The children share the same love for Anamarie as they do each other and that is a direct result of her nature. She communicates with the parents what is needed and encouraged and texts photos and updates throughout the day. We feel like she is part of our family and appreciate her wisdom so much being new parents. Our baby is social with other babies and I confidently feel it is due to the environment at the daycare. Anita is an amazing teacher who is so warm, calming, and truly cares for the kids. On our first visit, Anita sat with us to really get to know our daughter, her interests, and to help transition her into daycare. It was such an easy transition and our daughter immediately loved going. She's made so many friends over the years and Nuni Kidz really feels like a family! The space is incredible, from a baby room for the little ones, to a toddler area with books, sensory play, crafts, and puzzles. The outdoor space is huge with animals, water play, chalk, scooters, and sports-play. The kids really are so stimulated, constantly learning, and having so much fun. We quickly became comfortable, especially after seeing our daughter adjust within just a day or two. It has been amazing to watch her grow and develop at Nuni Kidz. She learned to climb, and even ride a scooter before turning two as they keep the kids quite active! They spend lots of time outside, and have so many opportunities to explore and learn. The group of children is also really supportive of one another, and they all seem to get along so well. Anita and Camila are incredibly patient with the kids and always have a full day of activities planned, whether it's baking, crafts, gardening, outdoor play, or spending time with their various animals, which the children absolutely love! Most importantly, our daughter is always happy to arrive in the morning and see Anita, Camila, and all her little buddies. We had tried one school-like experience for a brief two weeks that did not go well and had a pretty big impact on her, so I went into our tour at Pacific open-minded but definitely not optimistic. That completely changed after meeting the Director, Miss Dina. I left the tour feeling like my daughter would be in excellent hands and, more importantly, that she would be supported and guided in the areas where she needed it most. Fast forward more than a year, and she has completed preschool and is now in Early Kindergarten. I am so grateful for the staff at Pacific and the experience she has had here. I can go to work every day knowing my daughter is safe, loved, and being given the space to grow at her own pace. I especially have to recognize Miss Sapna. She helped my daughter work through her school anxiety, make friends, find her confidence, and truly learn to love school. Seeing that change in her has meant so much to our family. They have built such personal bonds, and it means everything to me that my children feel at home there. As a mom, I've also found myself turning to the teachers for parenting advice. They're always willing to listen, share their experience, and offer guidance when I need it. That kind of support goes far beyond what I ever expected from a child care center. Ms. Mojgan, the director, has gone above and beyond to make my kids feel at home. Ms. Ellie makes them feel so loved. Ms. Meenu has made a real effort to ensure my older daughter feels heard, and Ms. Sarah takes the time to truly listen to the children. I'm especially grateful to Ms. Kim for the kindness she showed my middle daughter when she had accidents. She helped her feel comfortable and reassured instead of embarrassed. The teachers in the younger classrooms are angels, too. My two-year-old is always on the move, and I couldn't even get her to sit on the toilet at home. We started…read moreour son with Tutor Time Laguna Niguel at 2.5 months old and have been with Tutor Time for about 2.5 months. We are first time parents to a son who is very active, alert and does not want to sleep; I am happy with his care at Tutor Time. Tutor Time implemented a video monitoring system in the classrooms in January which has been very helpful in easing concerns about what is going on throughout the day. There is also an app called Brightwheel that is used to communicate with parents to share when your child is fed, when they went down for a nap or woke up, pictures and videos of what they are doing, and other general communications. Comparing with several friends, it doesn't sound like this is something that most daycares use, but it has been so very helpful! Searching for a daycare center, it was stressful knowing that our baby would be going from having mom and dad dote on him all day, to being in an environment where the teacher/baby ratio is 4-to-1. His teachers at Tutor Time are able to balance between naps, feeding and making sure the babies are getting attention, love and development. Above all, I feel like the teachers really care about my son and treat him and the other children with love and respect. To address some of the other concerns from other reviews: Clothing - This review made me really sad, because the staff do a great job with the kids. To give a 1-star review over clothing without consideration for the teachers happily loving and caring for your child all day isn't fair. Multiple reminders have been provided requesting to ensure all clothing is labeled, and it is requested in the "Family Handbook" received prior to enrolling. We personally haven't had an issue with any mix ups with clothing, and infants have their fair share of diaper leaks. If one of my son's classmates was accidentally sent home in some of his daycare worthy clothing, I don't think I'd notice; if I did, I'd be happy that the infants are being nurtured with love and kindness as the top priority. Ratios & cell phones - With such a little tiny baby, I am logged in to the video monitoring system as often as I can be to check in on him. I can't recall a time I have ever seen a teacher on their cell phone or a time where the ratio exceeded the state mandated ratio of 4 infants to 1 teacher, and you better believe I count. Even when all infants are asleep - no cell phones. Director changes - Just as we started, there was a change in the Director Ms Stephanie leaving. Listening to other parents and reading other reviews, a Director can make or break an experience, so we were a little concerned. Ms Cheyanne has been absolutely wonderful and has taken the time to listen to and address any questions, and ensured there is appropriate follow up if needed. Staff turnover - All the staff always greet us with an enthusiastic smile, and ALL know our son. There has been a little bit of turnover, however it seems like the majority of the staff has been there for at least several years, if not longer. Several of the teachers have even been there for over 20 years. Looking at other centers and reviews as well, a little bit of turnover seems like it is somewhat common in this field.

My son has been enrolled here for almost 2 years. The first year was fantastic. We loved the…read moreteachers in the baby room and toddler room. You can see they cared and adored my son and he loved going there. We started potty training a little before 2 because he was showing signs of readiness. The leadership told us they would support but the teachers weren't doing it. It took over a month of back and forth and trying to clarify for them to actually implement potty training. Communication plummeted then on out. We basically had to beg for information to prepare for the transition to the next class over and over. Once he started the class, the one they assured would be super beneficial for potty training, he regressed further with potty training. They kept him in pull ups (which inhibits his ability to learn the consequence of accidents and confusing him since he is in undies anytime he isnt there) and rarely documented giving him the opportunity to go potty despite us telling the teacher and assuming the leadership communicated about the needs of the child in their care. After about a month of again begging for potty training support (and several ignored messages) we were informed he was never a part of the potty training schedule. The communication is insanely disappointing. They have now "started taking him every 20 minutes" but there is mathematically no way they are given the documented accidents occurring all day. When he is not at daycare, he has maybe one when taken on regular intervals in multiple settings- at home, other people's houses and in the community, so the only factor that can be causing this regression is lack of opportunity. At this point, no true problem solving has been implemented and no accountability taken. We feel like this daycare simply stopped caring about our son. We are looking into other facilities who actually communicate with their staff and provide the needed (and advertised) support to their students. Past toddler room (we love Ms Monsoureh and ms Sandra V and all our infant room teachers), dont waste the time your kiddo is a developmental sponge on an environment who hinders their progress
